Rarely have gangsters been depicted in cinema beyond Italian or Irish lineage. When the mob is brought into the conversation, more than likely such classics as The Godfather or Goodfellas come to mind. The Martin Scorsese produced Revenge of the Green Dragons pulls the curtain back on the lesser known Chinese gangsters that ruled Queens in the 1980s. It must be our lucky day because today Dimension films released the first trailer for the long awaited Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a sequel nine years in the making. FACT: Did you know for a film renowned for violence, GoodFellas has a relatively low body count of 10? These little tidbits we never really think about when exiting a movie. Many little miraculous and astonishing things can be found if we watch very carefully; or just have a great inside to production information. Mr. Maguire will be pulling a little comedy movie, The Details, out of his bag of tricks before he takes on the role of Peter Parker one more time. He will be along side Elizabeth Banks as a struggling married couple. This film also stars Ray Liotta, Anne Friel, Laura Linney, and Dennis Haysbert. Directed by Jacob Estes says “Maguire’s character is an everyman in the sense that he is composed of a morally ambiguous core.
