From what the house that Walt built has come to make us understand, Maleficent will be the “untold story” of the infamous Sleeping Beauty villain who may have been more of a tragic anti-hero than a nasty hell span. Empire has caught up with Sharlto Copley about the possibility of a District 9 sequel with director Neill Blomkamp, in fact, from what he tells Empire is that there may be a prequel in the works. I’m sure it’s not going to be called Distrcit 8, but perhaps that got your attention anyways.
I’ve got your first look at the brand new A Team starring Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as Sgt. “B.A.” Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock, and Liam Neeson as John “Hannibal” Smith in the Joe Carnahan-directed The A-Team. The team kicks into action with Jessica Biel in theaters June 10, 2010. I also am bringing you a nice little comparison of the old gang.
It has finally arrived, the District 9 trailer. This totally took me in a different direction for this film when I saw this. I thought it was going to be a a more bland story, not the action sci-fi thriller it actually is. Neil Blomkamp’s story looks great and Peter Jackson has visually turned this into a great looking film. The story actually looks like something out of a videogame. The story is about aliens who have landed in Johannesburg 28 years ago. The Multi-National United has blocked off a certain district just for the new alien refugees who just want to go home. But something has occured that place fear on the humans and they need to get to the bottom of this mystery, what are the aliens up to? This film comes out August 14th and the trailer is located below. I will try and get some movie stills when an HD version appears.
