Now that the American Horror Story: Asylum marketing has begun, horror fans are beginning to wonder what all these teasers mean? Earlier we saw three short Asylum promos, “Special Delivery,” “Blue Coat,” and “Hydrobath.” And now three more teasers have graced the Interwebs and have begun to crank up the freak factor. Those anticipating the arrival of American Horror Story: Asylum have been given a treat on the Internets this week as multiple promo teasers have revealed themselves with terrific disturbing imagery. It was last season’s marketing that got me to become a believer, and it appears to be working again. ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ Character and Story Teases

The first time I heard about American Horror Story, I was more excited about the development of this project than Leatherface creating a new mask. When the series debuted on FX last year I had hope, but as the show progressed that hope turned to doubt, confusion, anger, and finally at the end, mediocre content.

After American Horror Story was approved for more seasons I found myself in a furious uproar, especially if we were to continue with the bi-polar, unrelatable Harmon family. Eventually announced as a mini-series, meaning we would see a different story each season, I was please to hear we would get a fresh new start. This new beginning takes us into the deepest parts of a 1960’s insane asylum. Continue reading

Trekkies rejoice! Star Trek reignites the fire that is the Star Trek franchise. J.J. Abrams – the king of modern nerds – has createda wild ride back into Starfleet Academy where it all began. Performances by Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Eric Bana make you believe in the characters and bring you to a world that only few love, opening up the Trek universe to a more mainstream audience. The epic tales of James T. Kirk and Spock may now be enjoyed by those who didn’t even like Star Trek in the first place.
