The 83rd Academy Award Winners (Live Updates)

The 83rd Academy Awards will be airing tonight on ABC at 730 CST and I will be bringing you the winners as they are presented live (you’ll have to refresh the page throughout the night if you stay with me). I’ll also be putting in my two cents and just trying to enjoy my night as this will be a pretty exciting awards show. Not only do we get the first co-ed co-hosts, Anne Hathaway and James Franco, but the youngest ever too. I am also excited to see what Banksy will have in store if he will crash the award show or not.

To see who has won thus far, keep reading after the jump!

Now that Disney has recently released their 50th animated feature film, it appears they might be back to their roots in more ways than one. The House of Mouse has been notoriously known to put hidden sexual messages inside their films; although they will tell you differently. But it looks like not even Tangled could escape from their sinister clutches. See some more instances of their accused sexual exploits that they have put in past movies after the break.

Where Do Your Eyes Take You?

Subconsciously we are probably never aware of where we tend to let our eyes wander when watching a movie. I know I try to at least give the whole frame as much attention as possible so I can view further details in the scenery and the environment. There is this amazing video, thanks to the David Bordwell’s Website on Cinema, that took a closer look into the mechanics of eye movements when watching a movie. They take a look at There Will Be Blood. You can view the video after the break.
