Empire Online had a really long article interviewing Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of every X-Men movie since the beginning. She sat down and talked about the future of what would become of the future projects that have been floating around such as Wolverine 2, X-Men: First Class, Dead Pool, and Magneto.

Back to the Basics With Spider-Man 4

spider-man-4-poster

Coventry Telegraph got an interview with Mr. Raimi on Spider-Man 4. Currently the fourth begins filming in March, and screenwriter James Vanderbilt has been hired to work on the fifth and sixth instalments.

Raimi spoke about the comic book movie franchise in the print edition of DVD & Blu-ray Review. Asked about complaints that there were too many bad guys in Spider-Man 3, he responded: “I think having so many villains detracted from the experience. I would agree with the criticism.”

He said: “I think I’ve learned about the importance of getting to the point and the importance of having limitations, and I’m hoping to take that into a production where I’m actually allowed to explore with more of the tools to pull it off with a little more splendour.

Some Cool Legion Character Posters

Thanks JoBlo.com for all six the Legion character posters! Though they’re each separate pieces of art, they run together highlight a quote from Matthew 13:49:

So it will be at the end of the age the angels will come forth to take out the wicked and throw them into the furnace of fire.

In the posters below, we see Dennis Quaid, Adrianne Palicki, Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Tyrese and Kevin Durand. Bettany stars as the archangel Michael who must stop another angel, Gabriel, from bringing about the apocalypse while humanity’s last hope lies in a desert diner. Legion hits theaters on January 22 and you can check out the six character banners after the jump!

Box Office Battlefield: ‘Couples Retreat’ and ‘Good Hair’

battle field

This weekend is pretty bleak in terms of new movies. This “weakend” of October 9, 2009 does not offer anything on your plate for a healthy dose of movies, but there are slim pickin’s. Might as well go see Zombieland again………

Mr. Bay You Fool Us Again!

MICHAEL BAY BOOM DEVIL

So Mr. Bay, you’re telling me Transformers 3 will be out July 1st 2011? And that Ehren Kruger is the only confirmed writer? Well sir I turn my cheek to you and bid you fairwell……

Mr. Bay’s post on his website:

Transformers 3: July 1st, 2011
10/01/2009 09:41 AM

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.

Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

A Nightmare on Elmstreet (2010) Teaser TRAILER!!

Watch this awesome new trailer for the remake of A Nightmare On Elmstreet. Yes…… it is produced by Michael Bay, which he is 2 for 3 (the missed one is Friday The 13th remake), the others were good remakes. But I think this will be pretty classy and stay true to the original.
