And here we thought Peter Jackson was just pulling a fast one on us back at Comic-Con 2012. Nope! It has been confirmed that The Hobbit will be transformed into a trilogy instead of a two-part film. Apparently, Mr. Jackson was able to film so much additional footage that Warner Bros. just couldn’t say no – and who could blame them?
