Mr. Bay You Fool Us Again!

MICHAEL BAY BOOM DEVIL

So Mr. Bay, you’re telling me Transformers 3 will be out July 1st 2011? And that Ehren Kruger is the only confirmed writer? Well sir I turn my cheek to you and bid you fairwell……

Mr. Bay’s post on his website:

Transformers 3: July 1st, 2011
10/01/2009 09:41 AM

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.

Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

Fandangwowzers, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ 45% Of Sales

primme 4

Revenge of the Fallen is outselling Star Trek fast on Fandango. With 45% of sales on Fandango going to ROTF, this mega hit is producing steam and not stopping. This will definitely be a huge hit, not so much a good movie……, but it will definitely pay the bills. I predict that this little robot flick will be the highest grossing movie of the summer.

Fandango has surveyed nearly 2,000 moviegoers planning to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Among the findings:

* 88% of respondents said they are fans of director Michael Bay; 66% of them picked Transformers as their favorite Bay film.
* 77% of respondents say they were fans of Transformers when they were kids; 68% of those fans watched the cartoon series, while 61% played with the toys.
* 45% picked Optimus Prime as their favorite Transformer; 21% picked Bumblebee; 4% picked Megatron.
* 62% of respondents are 18-34 years old; 63% are male.

First Transformers: Rolling on the Floor, Reviews

bitch slapped

So the Brits got to see the first full finished version, unlike in Japan where they got about a 98.9% version, and they are coming out with the first reviews for it. As to be expected, which I didn’t expect much other than nonsense of explosions, plot holes and lack of story. Meh, oh well, I’m sure it will make a bajillion dollars anyways and Michael Bau will be laughing to the bank along with cronies Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Here are just a few exerpts of what some critics said and you can click on their sites to read the full reviews. Reviews after the jump:

Michael Bay is a Silly person

MICHAEL BAY BOOM

Although this is old news, I have just started this blog, but I found this article very interesting. That Michael Bay……always pushing the limits of cinematography, explosions, and visual effects. This time Mr. Bay has set the record for most memory stored on a computer for a movie with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The original Transformers film was stored with only 15 terabytes of memory, while the new Transformers: ROTF film was stored at 140 terabytes of memory! Of course he is modest of the record and even though a certain section of the film literally set a computer on fire, Bay explains the making of the film to the LA Times.
