This weekend proves to be a little more hopeful that last. With a little more horror leading up to Halloween, some childhood memories, and some little independent delights, this weekend of October 16, 2009 is a lot more promising.

Hanson? Yes, I did happen to go to a Hanson conert……and oh boy was it an interesting crowd to say the least. Oh yeah, Hellogoodbye played as well, although some might not have known who was a HGb fan in the crowd swimming in a sea of giddy Hanson fans.
CanalPlus.fr has posted a new Iron Man 2 behind-the-scenes video featuring footage and interviews with director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man 2 hits theaters on May 7, 2010.
Hatchet and Frozen helmer Adam Green continues his annual Halloween short film streak with Jack Chop!, a hilarious spoof on the “Slap Chop” informercial, that’s going to put a big ol’ goofy grin on your face (especially those of you, like me, who grew up on the East Coast).
For this entry, Green called in Paul Solet, the director of Grace, as the unlucky “Jack Chop” host. Good stuff! Oh, I should add this is not safe for work (due to language, but f**k it – watch it anyway!).
More of Green’s Halloween shorts can be found at Ariescope.com.
GO SEE PARANORMAL ACTIVITY WHEN IT COMES TO THEATERS NATIONWIDE OCTOBER 16!!!

Paranormal Activity received 1,000,000 demands for it to go nationwide. So now by popular demand it will do so. I can’t wait to see this movie. Supposedly it is the scariest movie of the year, we will put it to the test.
Check out the trailer and reviews after the jump!

Thanks to The Film School Rejects, they have compiled a pretty good list of some great films you never would have guessed that were picked up and directed by women. Whodathunk?!
The Toy Story 3 trailer got sneaked online from a few sources and will be online shortly, but I have your fix.

This weekend is pretty bleak in terms of new movies. This “weakend” of October 9, 2009 does not offer anything on your plate for a healthy dose of movies, but there are slim pickin’s. Might as well go see Zombieland again………

There is only one movie you need to see this weekend of October 2, 2009, and that film is ZOMBIELAND! I’ll tell you the other movies, but it won’t make a difference

So Mr. Bay, you’re telling me Transformers 3 will be out July 1st 2011? And that Ehren Kruger is the only confirmed writer? Well sir I turn my cheek to you and bid you fairwell……
Mr. Bay’s post on his website:
Transformers 3: July 1st, 2011

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.
