A second full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has been released. Expanding to the further reaches of the galaxy and the story, this new look at the film presents an even larger picture than what we’ve seen before. If you missed Comic-Con last week, check out the latest trailer from Warner Bros. after the jump.
(I wouldn’t say there are spoilers here, but if you’re not ready to see where Matthew McConaughey’s interstellar travel will take him do not watch this trailer)
Christopher Nolan is not a man of small ideas. Memento, The Prestige, Inception, and The Dark Knight, Nolan’s filmography speaks for itself. Expanding the visuals of Interstellar off Earth and onto new planets, I can only imagine how large Interstellar will be. Especially when it comes to IMAX. As for the look of the planets, I think Nolan has an interesting task to show us something we’ve never seen in sci-fi films before, and the water planet and ice planet are a good start. Where else will we see?
Like I said, I don’t feel as if there are big spoilers involved here, but the trailer does invite many questions. What galaxies are they searching for a new inhabitable home? Will they make it back to Earth? What is that weird rectangle droid thing floating on the water?
Is it November yet?
