The viral marketing campaign for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 between The Capitol and the rebels wages on. Six new posters have been discovered that showcases six of our star players of the rebellion hiding out in District 13. President Coin, Beetee, Haymitch, Effie, Finnick, and Plutarch each have their own. Check them out after the break.

The site has only been alive for a few days, but you can tap into District 13 by visiting m.district13.co.in/. Like a true viral campaign, this site allows fans to join in on the fun of the franchise to make you think you are sabotaging The Capitol’s propos and ruining their schemes. I love me some viral marketing, and I believe the folks at Lionsgate are doing a good job to make this series feel fresh. It also helps because the third book is practically atrocious. The first trailer does a decent job at hiding it.

There isn’t much to these posters other than a Photoshopped cutout of each actor standing in front of a grey wall inside District 13. However, they do set the tone of where are characters are at this point in our story. Sadly, the films have not done a very good job at explaining the world and why District 13 is such a big deal, and hopefully they’ll justify that in Mockingjay – Part 1.

As you can see below, the only revelations that can be found is that Beetee is now in a wheelchair  and Effie is most likely bald or has little hair. Everyone looks so glower. It’s kind of almost creepy that they are using Philip Seymour Hoffman in the marketing, but he does play an integral part of the story.
