Over the weekend, the above poster was mistaken for a legit poster for the final Harry Potter movie coming out in July, The Deathly Hallows Part 2. Honestly, for how beautiful it is, I could see how this could be passed around as real. I did some digging and found that I stumbled on to a DeviantArt user by the name of jejfferson-hp. He has quite a few mock-ups for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and I would hope that something good will come of them for the artist. If you haven’t seen this incredible fan art rendering of the Nintendo classic, The Legend of Zelda, than you have been living under a rock and fail as a nerd. Created by, as he likes to call himself, Ag +, this artist has created one of the most stunning artistic displays of video game art ever created. This is most epic creation links all of the Zelda games together, no pun intended. Artist d.r3sto on Flickr has developed a great concept here. Dinosaurs + Marvel Superheroes = Epic Win. These are brilliantly drawn/created and show vivid imagination. The 2011 British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards have passed, but I found this great art from the event brochure that showcases illustrations from Adam Simpson. A brilliant UK graphic artist, Tom Muller, decided it would be best to utilize the Coen Brother’s extensive film catalog to create an infographic to depict how all the actors relate to one another. Unfortunately Lost is gone, but in many minds, not forgotten. An award winning, freelance designer, Neil Richards, took it upon himself to design these really awesome Dharma Initiative posters from the series depicting each station to its unique function.
