Here we go with some quick notes again. Quick Notes are articles and blips that I do not feel on typing out full news that could just be viewed in shorts that I don’t feel are as important to rant about. They are all just a bunch of random hooblah of sorts that fell into this little section of fun and goodness after the jump:
There is the coolest video that was brought to my attention called, Alarm. Director Moo-hyun Jang, from South Korea, has created this beautiful computer animated short film that just amazes me. It’s a short little 9 minute animation and im pretty sure this just happened to me today. Watch this cool little video I’m sure you’ll get a kick out of it; at the least you’ll just be in awe how amazing it looks:
I really don’t, but I found out about it. Apparently ‘Twighlight: Eclipse’ will start production already this fall. Why are they banging out these films so fast? Does Hollywood just want to finish the book series to get it done and over with as fast as they can? Does their work suffer from going so fast with these movies? Will they succeed? Was ‘Twilight’ even that good of a movie? I heard it wasn’t. I guess while you’re waiting for the third film, you could go see the second one, ‘New Moon,’ on August 14th… Kids Choice awards here we come………………………………
JoBlo conducted with Depp about his little flick called ‘Public Enemies.’ It details about the work he did and the character and how he put it all together.
“Did he feel like he was untouchable? That no one could get to him?
I think he felt the clock was ticking. I think maybe when you’re on that adrenaline high, you may feel that sort of thing, that “No one can get me.” But I don’t think he was dumb, you know? And to feel like you’re completely untouchable there’s a certain amount of ignorance in that. I think he just felt like “I got that one, let’s move on to the next. And what happens now?”
Mr. Pine is going in a new direction of horror as his new film, ‘Carriers,’ has come out with a trailer. It looks like a ’28 Days Later’ reincarnate with a post ‘Outbreak’ feel. This looks like it could be decent and after ‘Star Trek’ we know what Pine is capable of; at least he has Piper Perabo on his side. With the swine flu “pandemic” sweeping the hype of infection viruses, might as well hype it up with a movie of the sorts. Watch the trailer right here and see the movie on September 4th………Website – carriersmovie.com
The trailer for “The Informant” came out today as well with a fat Matt Damon and Scott Bakula. “In 1992, Whitacre confessed to an FBI agent (played by Bakula) that he and other company execs had fixed the price of lysine, a grain-based food additive. Soderbergh is evidently casting the story as a sharp, perhaps even mean corporate comedy in which Whitacre is bipolar, bumbling and delusional. Whitacre worked with the FBI for almost three years, was responsible for hundreds of hours of audio and video surveillance, and helped lock down what was at the time the largest price-fixing case in history. But he also stole $9m from ADM, and went to jail for a longer term than any of the execs he helped convict. (/Film)”
This film also comes out October 9th, but you can check out the trailer below.

The trailer for a new movie called “Couples Retreat” came out today and looks kind of funny. Yay, a new Vince Vaughn movie……… well it shouldn’t be too bad. This also stars Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman, Malin Akerman, Faizon Love, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, Jean Reno, Peter Serafinowicz and Ken Jeong. It’s about four couples who go to some island paradise, but have to go through couples therapy for their struggling marriages in order to reap all the island benefits. It looks like it could be decent. I really think Vaughn is overrated with his little quips and sarcastic acting, but the movie could survive with Bateman and Favreau. Who know? This little rom-com comes out October 9, but check out the trailer here.

Collegehumor usually amuses me, but this new video by them is just awesome. Their “Web Site Sory” is based off all things on the Interweb and collaborates to the music of “West Side Story.” It is classic and I wish it was longer. This is a must see video.
