A funny and weird look into the world of South Park if it were created into a live action show. This is just some funny commercial created but for Dutch Comedy Central. The voice overs are bad, but it gets the point across in the South Park way.
On April 9, 2010 at 2:15pm, I stepped into my local movie theater to culminate my goal of watching 365 movies I have never seen before within the time frame of an entire year. I have accomplished my goal in 328 days from when I first started on May 17, 2009. It’s been a pretty ridiculous long trip throughout cinema as I have seen many films of every genre that were pretty amazing, great fun, timeless classics, and horribly bad. I wanted to do this fun journey through film as a way to build up my film “palette.” I had this growing love of film and film news, but realized I have not seen very many older movies and needed to start to watch more and more to at least make it plausible that I know what I’m talking about. Through suggestions and just sitting down to an open mind, I welcomed most movies that came my way and ultimately finished my goal.
I can just say if you really don’t believe me that I have never seen any of these movies than you can just believe that, but I don’t know who would really lie about something like that for the sake of saying never seeing certain movies.
Continue reading after the jump to see what films I watched and the resulting conclusions of my goal.
Lin Yu Chun, a 23-year old contestant on Taiwan’s version of America’s Got Talent called “Super Star Avenue,” has been dubbed the Chinese Susan Boyle. Looking at him, like Boyle, you would not even believe what can come out of this little guy, even the host seems skeptical. It is pretty remarkably ridiculous how well this is sung, although I cannot say that I know anything about singing or tonal differences, but I’d have to say this is pretty damn good. In this video he sing’s Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Watch this video after the jump and be amazed.
Someone decided, “Hey let’s create a parody horror live action version of Pac-Man!” It works. This is a pretty eerie take on the classic arcade game and looks like it could be an interesting SyFy channel movie. This is really well done created by a comedy group called Therefore Productions. Perhaps this could lead to the sequel of Ms. Pac-Man.
Pharmaceutical CEO Michael Pacman is forced to take his own dangerous medications in order to survive a maze designed by a sadistic patient out for revenge.

The teaser trailer for the final sequel in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil: Afterlife, has just been released this weekend. It looks like everything it’s expected to be, but characters from the games have a bigger presence like Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker. Either way you look at it, this film won’t be something outstanding and just something to mindlessly enjoy like the rest of them, but Paul W.S. Anderson is back directing this final chapter having only directed the first one; in my opinion the best one so far. Doesn’t look like they held anything back as there is a familiar sequence that looks like they stole from The Matrix Reloaded. Oh well, they do mention to having used the 3D technology that James Cameron created for Avatar. Check out the trailer embedded after the jump and you can make your opinion.
The official trailer for the eerie science experiment gone wrong thriller, Splice, has been released this past week. It’s almost like a someone took a hint of Deep Blue Sea by taking the playing god aspect with an animal, but this time its with some strange lizard creature. The creature almost reminds me of the chimera’s in the anime Full Metal Alchemist with the bonding of human and animal DNA. Looks creepy, but I’m still have my doubts. We’ll see won’t we? Starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley this sci-fi thriller will be released in theaters June 4 this Summer. Check out the trailer after the jump!
The first full trailer for The A-Team has been released and it looks pretty great actually. This is how the G.I. Joe movie should have been done. It still may be a little far fetched and corny at times, but it does look like it should be pretty entertaining. The A-Team stars Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, Bradley Cooper as the playboy mercenary role of Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as B.A. Baracus. Look out for this film to be released June 11th! Slyvester Stallone’s, The Expendables, trailer came out this week and by golly is it everything a man could want out of an action flick. Not only does this film have practically every action hero possible, they have explosions, hot women and more fighting than ever. With Stallone, Willis, Li, Rourke, Statham, Lundgren, and more this film will absolutely blow your mind full of entertainment. Check out the trailer embedded after the jump!
