I know I haven’t been posting anything recently and I know I may be a little late to the party with this video, but you still have to admit that the Dead Island video game trailer is one of the most intricate, haunting, stunning, and beautiful video game trailers ever made. It could be said that this has more integrity than some movie trailers out there. If you haven’t seen this amazing video catch it after the break along with an additional bonus video!
Lacking the opportunity to gain screeners or press screenings makes it slightly more difficult to fit in the time or budget to see every movie that comes out within a year. Sometimes you just have to buck up and watch a lot of damn movies; that’s what the Internet is for. With less than one week until the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, I felt that it is my duty to share with you my thoughts on last years motion pictures.
The year was 2010 and a whole lot of nothing was going on in the cinema world; there were the really good and then there were the really bad. Today, Sunday, February 6, 2011, is the biggest day for the NFL all year, but also one of the biggest days for television commercials as well. I’m going to be paying close attention to each ad and judge them based on a few factors: the entertainment value, creative originality, and the effectiveness of the message. Hopefully this year the agencies and in-house creatives have stepped up their game as last year wasn’t anything to special. Let the commercials begin! Check out the ads after the break!
