Of course you can’t go see Saw 3D without revisiting every death in the movie franchise. The body count isn’t as high as you would think, but it gets pretty gruesome. Be warned, this obviously holds many spoilers through Saw I-VI and it is very graphic so hide your kids, hide your wives. But this is some good ole wholseome Saw death fun! Thanks Moviefone! Horror Movie Quote of the Day: Scream
Batman 3 Entitled, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Let the speculation begin! Christopher Nolan has finally broken silence about the third Batman project and Hero Complex scored a nice little interview with the director. The Dark Knight Rises will be the title of the third Batman film and along with that bit of information, Nolan has also offered up the news that The Riddler will not be the villain.
T-He: Waverly Films’ ‘Clown’ Trailer
Waverly Films, a few amateur filmmakers out of Brooklyn, created a fun fake trailer to a “Eli Roth” movie that made even Eli Roth tweet, “This is so good even I thought it was real…I WANT TO SEE CLOWN!!” Clown looks like it could be a great B-movie horror, but I doubt we’ll ever see this anytime soon. If you’ve seen the fake trailers during the intermission of Grindhouse, then you know what this kind of trailer is aiming for. This is great!
I think these guys make ICP jealous. Check out the faux trailer after the break!
Hilarious: I Love You Phillip Morris Red Band Trailer
The hilarious homoerotic Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor comedy that almost wasn’t is finally sprouting wings bringing us a red band trailer for the Christmas holiday release. I can see how the MPAA and others may have been weary of releasing this film, but people need to lighten up. This trailer is astonishingly funny and shows a Jim Carrey I never knew was possible. Surely the blunt of the comedy is kept hidden within the film and hopefully the trailer didn’t ruin most of the fun. If the movie is half as funny as the trailer than I am going to enjoy Phillip Morris a lot.

Jackman Confirms Aronofsky for Wolverine 2
Yesterday, I reported on SoundonSight that locations were being scouted with the possibility of Darren Aronofsky about 90% confirmed to direct. Today, Vulture has released a conversation held with Hugh Jackman at Elton John’s Enduring Vision gala last night stating that Aronofsky is confirmed to direct.
T-He: Volkswagen’s “See Film Differently”
Volkswagen has more on their mind then just automobiles. VW has been seen sponsoring various film festivals these days and have been really taken with the industry. The See Film Differently campaign has been reignited after a few cute print ads that surfaced last year. The new campaign is focused on locations rather than cars within film. VW is calling it, “Turning the Camera On Locations,” visiting “a number of iconic film locations to see what effect the movies have had on the everyday lives of those who work there.” I love this idea. It is fun and the concept of imagining what real working people have to deal with when tourists visit must be a laugh and a headache.
Riding on the nostalgia train, Volkswagen has picked two infamous movie locations for TV spots focusing on Ghostbusters and When Harry Met Sally. You can check out the fun little videos after the break!
Will There be a Sin City 2? Maybe?
During a Facebook livechat for the Grindhouse movies, director Robert Rodriguez suggested that Sin City 2 would be his next project after Spy Kids 4. This lovely update comes from The Playlist who luckily caught Rodriguez in the conversation.
“Frank Miller and I are working on it. It’s slated to be the next one. But if the script is not ready, then we’ll have to move to the next one.”
Zack Snyder Confirmed to Direct Superman
It has been confirmed by Deadline, who spoke with Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead), that he is now taking control of the director seat and will be starting Superman, for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, when he finishes with Sucker Punch.
Mark Ruffalo “Avatars” The Avengers
Within the revolving door of actors playing the iconic figures over at Marvel Entertainment, Mark Ruffalo has been chosen to fill the shoes of Ed Norton’s place as The Incredible Hulk. Vulture got a hold of Ruffalo and he revealed that he would actually be ‘playing’ the character in the film rather than voice acting over a CGI character.
