Official ‘Selma’ Trailer Stands Up for Civil Rights [131 Screenshots]
We’ve not heard too much about director Ava DuVernay’s upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. biopic starring David Oyelowo, but it couldn’t be any more timely. Seeing how it makes its theatrical release this Christmas, this first trailer is a very strong debut for Selma. Not only does it capture the emotional weight of the civil rights movement of the ’60s, it brings a certain level of perspective seeing how these events only took place 50 years ago. Bring Home the Award-Winning ‘12 Years a Slave’ on Blu-ray and DVD March 4
I’m predicting the future, and what I foresee is that 12 Years a Slave will win Best Picture at the Oscars on March 2 and the home video sales will skyrocket once it releases on March 4, the following Tuesday. That’s perfectly timed isn’t it? 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment announced today the big release date for one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2013 – it was in my top 5 that’s for sure. Kick-Ass’s Red Mist Gets a Poster
Another poster for Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass comic book movie has appeared. McLovin’ is looking pretty badass and will most likely be kicking ass as the character Red Mist. This is an adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic and should be set to be in theaters April 16, 2010.
