After having a joyful time through Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla Experience, a stroll through Summit Entertainment’s Ender’s Game Fan Experience felt like the right thing to do before Comic-Con ended. HGTV partnered with Summit to create this SDCC exclusive experience, which showcased an interpretation of the Wiggins home living room, along with other specially constructed, unique rooms to recreate environments from the film itself. Along with the Comic-Con presentation of Divergent, Summit Entertainment also wanted to bring Ender’s Game to close the panel. Finishing shooting only days prior to the panel, the cast of Summit Entertainment’s latest flick, Divergent, made their rounds at Comic-Con 2013 this week. The author, Veronica Roth, welcomed the thousands of fans attending the Hall H panel along with director Neil Burger as well as cast members Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Maggie Q, and more. If you happened to be outside the San Diego Convention Center near PETCO Park this weekend you may have noticed a building that looked like it was attacked by a monster. Thanks in part by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros., the king of monsters, Godzilla himself is coming back on to the big screen in May of 2014. What Legendary and Warner Bros. brought to Comic-Con 2013 this year was an experience far more extravagant then a teaser clip like last year, they brought fans to Japan to see the beast up close and personal. Needless to say, Edgar Wright and Alfonso Cuarón are a pair of the most talented, visually-inspiring directors of our time – Marc Webb is still young in his career, but a visionary nonetheless. Gamers excited for Batman: Arkham Origins got a real treat at Comic-Con 2013 this year. Not only were fans treated to appearances by the director of the game, Eric Holmes, as well as Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker, the newest voices of Batman and the Joker, respectively, but they were also greeted by Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. Those expecting to play the game October 25 were given a sneak peak at new skins available for download as well as one of the villains that has yet to be seen.
