Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life Poster Debuts!

At first look I wasn’t sure if I was looking at thumbnails of the trailer, but upon a closer look, this is in fact the first poster for Terrence Mallick’s The Tree of Life starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn. This very beautiful poster is elegantly composed and full of mystery. It may not give any great detail about what this film is exactly about, but there is a certain chaotic grace among all of the stills from the film. Check out the entire poster after the jump!

The First Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Poster

With the end of an era finally coming to a close this July, marketing has begun to start the unnecessary promotion of what is sure to be one of the biggest, if not the king, blockbuster of the year. The first official poster debuted today and it pretty much sums up that this will be the bout of the century, if this was a boxing movie. Harry is looking mighty old with that stubble and looks to be wanting to inflict some pain on the nose-less Voldemort. Check out the full poster after the jump and be sure to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in theaters July 15!!!!

How The Actors of Coen Brothers Film Connect

A brilliant UK graphic artist, Tom Muller, decided it would be best to utilize the Coen Brother’s extensive film catalog to create an infographic to depict how all the actors relate to one another. You can check out Tom’s site HelloMuller and check the infographic after the jump to see the well done chart.

The Final ‘Sucker Punch’ Poster

March 25th cannot come soon enough with the release of Sucker Punch. Warner Brothers released one final poster that is visually clustered with tints of green and yellow hues. Although the poster is packed full of visuals and the title takes up half of the page, I still think it is considerably better than some action posters that come out these days. I do love their use of tilted text on the title; I’ve always loved their typography for the title. But anyways, check out the Sucker Punch poster after the jump and check out Zack Snyder’s film March 25, 2011!

Matthew Vaughn Releases Two Great Photos of Magneto and Professor X

Unbeknownst to the average joe, or probably many people, Matthew Vaughn didn’t intentionally want that group shot of the X-Men from First Class released nor did he have any knowledge of its origin. Luckily, for /Film and Peter Sciretta, he got an exclusive phone interview with the director and received two great images of the main characters themselves, James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr, WITH HELMET! Check them out after the break!

A Beautiful International Black Swan Poster

My anticipation of this film cannot contain itself, but alas there is not a theater in sight within 60 minutes of me where I can go see it. When it gets closer I will be there in a heartbeat. But until then, you can go after the jump to let your eyes witness this beautiful international trailer thanks to Glamour!

Alex Pardee ‘Sucker Punch’ Character Posters

Alex Pardee, illustrator/artist, has been working with writer/director Zack Snyder with some character design posters for Sucker Punch. His bunny design is shown on the mech unit and more of his work will be seen throughout the film as well. Pardee created character posters for Comic-con, which were posted on io9.com. They are pretty vibrant in color and imagery and my assumption that there is some water color environment added to them. You can check them out after the break!
