Neato: ‘The Legend of Zelda’ Cancan and Marimba Tributes

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

Arguably, The Legend of Zelda is one of the best video game franchises of this known world. More so, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the best games ever created. Period. When you combine the awesome power of Zelda with the geeking power of those who are enamored with our green tunic wearing hero then all balance is fully restored to the nerdosphere. Continue reading

TeeHee: Saruman Trololoing On Top of Isengard

The Lord of the Rings Saruman Trololo

This video is pretty old in Internet time since it came out this Summer, but there have been a lot of things that I haven’t posted because I just haven’t gotten around to writing about ’em. So if you haven’t seen Saruman (Christopher Lee) from The Lord of the Rings singing Eduard Khill’s infamous “Trololo” then you are in for a real treat. Continue reading

FEARnet’s ‘Trick ‘r Treat’ Halloween PSAs and 24-Hour Marathon

FEARnet Trick R Treat Halloween Rules

I FREAKING LOVE HALLOWEEN. The spirit of the holiday season is amazing and it’s not just because the female species feels that it is necessary to dress slutty 78% of the time. The horror movies, the candy, the parties, the atmosphere, the eeriness of it all to be celebrating the dead – or undead – I LOVE IT ALL. And what better way to celebrate All-Hallows-Eve then to have a 24-hour Trick ‘r Treat marathon. But before we partake in this amazing movie marathon, we must first carefully follow the rules of Halloween provided by FEARnet. Check out four-amazingly well-done PSAs of Halloween after the jump. Neato: Movie Scenes Recreated Through Toys

Toy Story 3 Andy and Bonnie Playing

As a kid, your playtime could stretch boundaries as far as your imagination would let you. With your toy collection anything was possible and you could play out scenarios the way you wanted them to be seen.

As an adult, we rarely get the chance to have that childlike wonderment with all of the issues going on that have to be worried about. But sometimes there are those who take a minute to appreciate the little things and enjoy what they have.

Edward McGowan, professional photographer (I believe this is the same guy who hosts this website), has recreated infamous movie scenes through the use of some “child’s play things.” Check out scenes from Saving Private Ryan, Sin City, and Indiana Jones after the break! Continue reading

We’ll never know, but if you are a film advocate like myself then you know that it can either get really freaking fantastic or go downhill anytime now. Twelve Years Later: ‘American Reunion’ Cast Photobooth Montage

Speaking of reunions, the original cast of American Pie are back and ready to serve another slice. Coincidentally, these pictures of the cast from the fourth film in the franchise (to make an appearance in the box office) comes twelve years after American Pie debuted back in 1999. For me, American Pie is one of the best comedies that will always fulfill my need for a chuckle. Check out the nostalgic montage after the break and be sure to catch American Reunion when it hits theaters April 6, 2012! Continue reading

‘Home Improvement’ Cast Reunion

If you’re like me, you have probably also seen every episode of Home Improvement and still watch reruns to this day. Twelve years later the entire main cast returns for an exclusive photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly’s annual reunion issue.  This reunion did not mean as much to the cast as it did for Tim Allen (Tim Taylor) and Patricia Richardson (Jill Taylor) being able to see former teen heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas (Randy Taylor), now 30-years-old, who had not seen the duo since his departure from the show in 1998.

Check out the reunion image after the break! Continue reading

Armond White vs The World

If you don’t know who Armond White is, good, but if you read on, you’ll soon find out that he is probably one of the most hated film critics of all time. Out of all of the reviews from Toy Story 3, Armond White, the known critic for the New York Press, was the only professional critic to single-handedly give it a rotten review. He states, “Toy Story 3 is so besotted with brand names and product-placement that it stops being about the innocent pleasures of imagination — the usefulness of toys — and strictly celebrates consumerism.” Find out what Mr. White’s opinions are on some of the best and worst reviewed films of recent years after the break!
