Mondo is ressurecting the movie poster game, and invaded SXSW 2014 this year with their own Disney inspired art gallery entitled “Nothing’s Impossible.” In collaboration with Oh My Disney, Mondo worked with such artists as Olly Moss, Dave Perillo, Jeff Soto, Tom Whalen, and more to come up with this one of a kind experience for festival attendees. Milton Glaser Designs Poster for ‘Mad Men’ Season 7
The final poster for Mad Men has been developed by none other than the world renowned graphic artist Milton Glaser. In his own unique and colorful vision, Glaser composed a poster for AMC that reflected the 70’s, the era in which we will be greeting the fine folks of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce in the seventh and final season. First Trailer for ‘Annie’ Remake Makes Hard Case for a Cameron Diaz Razzie (104 Screenshots)
It’s a hard knock life for us as Columbia Pictures released the first trailer for the remake of the 1982 classic Annie. Director Will Gluck (Friends with Benefits; Easy A) bring this reboot to life, staring Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan, Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks aka Daddy Warbucks, and Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) as little orphan Annie. After seven long years, the commercially praised 300 finally receives its prequel/coincidequel/sequel with 300: Rise of an Empire. In an attempt to reignite life back into fans with an all new cast of characters to rain chaos down on Xerxes and his Persian army, Rise of an Empire sadly does not come close to bringing the same caliber of excitement 300 had. ‘The Last of Us’ Movie Receives Green-Light with Screen Gems and Sam Raimi Attached
Gamers and moviegoers rejoice! The Last of Us, one of 2013’s most critically acclaimed and celebrated PlayStation 3 games of all time, has officially received the green light for a live action movie adaptation. No release date has been announced yet, but Screen Gems has signed on to distribute the iflm with the creative director of the game, Neil Druckmann, writing the screenplay. Hundreds of screaming fans are eagerly anticipating the Blu-ray/DVD release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on the March 7 midnight release. Lionsgate’s Home Entertainment has upped the ante and partnered with Walmarts across the nation to bring fans tributes from the 75th Annual Hunger Games. Cast members such as Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen) and Lynn Cohen (Mags from District 4) from the newest movie will be visiting stores nationwide on Thursday, March 6 for the home video release.
