The Sound of Black Swan Featurette

If you have not had the benefit to witness Black Swan yet, then you are missing out on one of the best films of the year. Before its wide release, the people at The Soundworks Collection released an eight minute featurette dedicated the sound design of Black Swan. Sound designer Craig Henighan was interviewed for the feature and one would suspect that you would find this on the special features when it is released on DVD. It is an interested featurette with a bit of easter eggs that you may have unheard while watching the film. Slight spoilers are lie ahead if you dare to watch the video. Catch it after the jump!

Take Me Home Tonight Trailer

Take Me Home Tonight explores the adventure of youth looking for something more in life, something that is missing, and something that can be solved within one night of tom foolery. Seen many times before (I Love You, Beth Cooper; Can’t Hardly Wait; Hot Tub Time Machine), this youth comedy doesn’t really change the formula or attempt at being different. Outrageous antics ensue, relatives/friends try to push the antagonist forward to get his love, and something life altering happens within a span of one night. I’m not impressed with this trailer and I feel sorry for the pretty decent cast of Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, Teresa Palmer, MichelleTrachtenberg, Michael Biehn, Chris Pratt, Lucy Punch, Michael Ian Black, and Demetri Martin. Watch the trailer after the jump to see for yourself.

Pirates of the Caribbean Hi-Res Production Stills

Some great colorful and spoiler-free photos were release from Walt Disney Pictures for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides! Photos of Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz are the main focus in these pictures. I have a lot of faith in this project and love the Pirates franchise, and yes I did not like the sequels as much as the first film, but there was still some good thought in there. Check out the stills after the jump!

250 Movie Character Introductions

Sometimes the best moment in a film can be the introduction to a character. One guy would like to recognize these moments that can go completely overlooked if they are done too quickly. Think back to the past few movies you’ve seen, can you remember any of the character introductions? They come by more often than you think. They do not register to you unless they are very powerful aka Spartcus, but sometimes they can be really great moments and this video will prove it.  Check out exophrine’s video after the jump!

T-He: Fight Club Reinvisioned By Senior Citizens and Jane Austen

One could agree, that David Fincher’s Fight Club is one of the greatest achievements in cinematic history, but then again others could turn that argument right back in your face. I am in between. I think it is a little overrated, but is still a great film. I think it’s just all those stupid tools who live and die by this movie, just like The Big Lebowski or The Boondock Saints that make me not love the films as much as I should. But I digress, Break.com created an amazing parody of the famous film with a senior citizen twist. And on the other end, some ladies at TwoTurntablesNMic’s YouTube channel created another parody based off the work and time period of Jane Austen. Check them out after the break!

But until then, you can go after the jump to let your eyes witness this beautiful international trailer thanks to Glamour!

Collider Says To Believe in Dark of the Moon!

The lucky ones at Collider got to join a few other film writers on an adventure to Bay Films to witness over 20 minutes of unfinished footage of Transformers Dark of the Moon. Questions were answered, hope was raised, and explosions were witnessed. They also got to interview Michael Bay for over two hours, which they say is quite uncommon for the filmmaker. Steve Weintraub praises the 3D and the cinematography shown claiming, “The 3rd film has huge scope and some ridiculously awesome action set pieces.  I saw some stuff that I have never seen in any movie.” You can check out his 22 minute Vlog with AICN Mr. Beaks after the break or go to the article itself at Collider to read all the Transformers Dark of the Moon information with a few minor spoilers.
