Being the not so Harry Potter fan that I was and now a true believer in the franchise, seeing a few bits of the cast of the Harry Potter films visiting the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park was fun and fascinating. Robbie Coltrane, Emma Watson, Matthew Lewis, and James and Oliver Phelps got a sneak peek weeks before the grand opening of the new theme park at Universal’s Orlando Resort. Seeing all the little details they put into the park and how the Potter cast reacted was guarantee’s this park will be a success. If you ever wondered what it would like to engulf yourself past the books and the film this will be the perfect opportunity to get the fill Harry Potter treatment. I need to start saving my pennies. Harry Potter Rhyme Slayer Battles MC Voldemort
With this Potter hype comes a Harry Potter Rap Battle, an original short by Indy Mogul. The Chosen One battles the Dark Lord in this ultimate battle of rhyme. Who will win this epic battle of words and rhythm, you’ll just have to watch and find out……
Harry Potter’s Magical Beatdown
I’ll give it props. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince reigns supreme being the largest midnight opener with $22.2 million. This beats the original records from The Dark Knight’s $18 mil and the 2nd place Revenge of the Sith‘s $17 mil. It also stomped out the largest grossing midnight box office champion of the year, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, with its $16 million. This movie could possibly destroy all domestic records with that kind of showing or perhaps just everyone showed up last night? Who knows. The domestic 5 day record is still The Dark Knight with $203.8 and in 2nd place Revenge of the Fallen with $201.3 million. Could Mr. Potter triumph over all? Go to the theaters and maybe it will happen………

I didn’t know that they were filming this already, but they might as well while they are still young…… I know that this is a two part movie and /FILM has got a report from from David Yates, the director, on where the film would get split in the book. So get excited?

The results are in, Variety reports that Revenge of the Fallen has surpassed ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ as the number one money making movie for a Wednesday release with $60.6 million. The previous record was only just a measily $44.2 mil. ROTF has opened in more than 4,200 theaters, 169 IMAX screens, and is projected to reach $150 mil in the five day release mark. It is already named the highest grossing overseas for the weekend. Mr. Bay you are going to be laughing on the way to the bank again aren’t you you silly little man.
