Dish Subscribers were in for a big surprise this evening. The fat zombie lady must have sung because AMC is back on Dish. This means The Walking Deadand every other show (Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, etc.) associated with the network has been brought back to Dish subscribers. Despite a disappointing run at the Emmy’s this year, Mad Men was still able to pull of a solid fifth season. As strange of a season it was – zou bisou bisou – the bad boys of Madison Ave continued to impress me with their intense and fantastic drama. Dish Network subscribers who love AMC, I feel your pain. Losing your favorite station can be tough, I know, I was distraught when DirecTV dropped G4. If I were to lose AMC, I would probably switch my current cable subscriber immediately. No longer are you able to watch Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Mad Men. Where will you go to for classic movie marathons like “Mob Week” or “Fearfest”? The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards will premier live tonight on NBC from 8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel hosted again by Ricky Gervais. If you are unfortunate for some reason to not have TV, I’ll update you on the events and the winners and give you my opinion if that is anything of value. No, but seriously why did I go to a school that offered nothing, but boring stereotypical classes that offered very little insight into something remotely attention worthy and enjoyable? The Huffington Post reports that Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois will now be offering a consumerism studies class on the hit television series, Mad Men.
If you are familiar with the show Mad Men on AMC then you might have noticed Don Draper’s (Jon Hamm) consistent use of the word, “What?”.
