Henry Cavill Cast as Superman for Zack Snyder’s Film

The debate on who would be cast as the man of steel has finally reached an end. Ladies and gentleman, may I please direct your attention to Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Stardust). There was some legal issue with money of Smallville and some “sweetheart” rights and other legal mumbo jumbo, but it would go in favor of WB and DC against their plantiffs.

“The Court pointedly ruled that if Warner Bros. does not start production on another Superman film by 2011, the Siegels will be able to sue to recover their damages,” attorney Toberoff added. “The Siegels look forward to the remainder of the case, which will determine how much defendants owe them for their exploitations of Superman.”
