It probably comes as no surprise to many that the insanely successful Walt Disney Animation Studios film Frozen is in talks for some upcoming sequels. However, fans may find it in a different medium than they would expect. As opposed to a film sequel, Anna and Elsa will be making an appearance at your local bookstore. Learn more after the break. And on the last day, Stan Lee said, “Let thy rest.” After three full days of rubbing elbows with sweaty Hobbits, listening to unproportioned Batman’s growl, and seeing more slave Leia’s than Jabba’s sail barge, Sunday during Comic-Con is a day of re-cooperation. There aren’t any really big names appearing on Sunday other than BBC’s Doctor Who, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, and an overview of the 15-year history of Harry Potter. But if you’re interested in going, we’ve got the schedule for Sunday here. Continue reading

As my psychic abilities hone in, the above picture is in reference to what will happen during Friday’s Comic-Con panel for The Walking Dead. Sony Entertainment is in force this Friday with Total Recall, Elysium, and Looper! But AMC will fight back if TWD isn’t enough with their Breaking Bad panel. Lots of good stuff all around, check out after the jump what else is in store! Continue reading

Just like the Michael Jordan versus Lebron James argument, Jordan always winning due to his extraordinary success and talent, Harry Potter will always be better than Twilight in the same respect. CinemaBlend has created an awesome retrospective look back at the success that the film franchise has had over the last 10 years. Go beyond the jump to check out the full infographic in its entirety.
I find it always fascinating when someone takes a piece of film, literature, television or a videogame and turn them into art. Ms. Lucy Knisely was artistically brilliant enough to take on the entire Harry Potter literature. She transformed every book into a giant comic strip for a poster that you can view on her LiveJournal. If you think she has made a masterpiece than by all means donate to her art. She has done something great here. You can also view all of the books separately in comic strip form after the jump!
I came across this really awesome infographic that shares the treasures of amazing tidbits that the Harry Potter universe has injected into our world. Did you know J.K. Rowling was the first billionaire (in U.S. dollars) by writing books? What other factoids can be revealed? Well you’ll have to see after the jump!
We’ve already seen the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer promoting both films, but now Warner Bros. has officially released an amazing new trailer focusing just on Part 1 of the incredible ending to the Harry Potter series. This new trailer is jam packed full of everything from the book and doesn’t seem to leave out any detail. The trailer provides many new clips from the movie that we haven’t seen before, maybe too many. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be so full of awesomness that I can’t imagine how far they are going to go with Part 2.
With less than two months to go, this trailer does the book justice from what I can tell, but I am a little concerned whether things in this movie will make sense to viewers who have only seen the films. There has been a decent amount left out of the past six movies that could confuse some people going into this film, but perhaps they will sort it out with a few lines of dialogue. This movie looks intense full of action, fast paced, and extremely well done; as the book was pretty much like reading a movie. Do you think the trailer could have revealed too much? I do, but as I have already read the book, I know what happens and am still very excited for this film.
Directed by David Yates, who has already helmed Order of the Phoenix and The Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be in theaters and IMAX, this November 19! Check out the full new trailer for Deathly Hallows Part 1 after the break along with over 150 screen captures from the trailer as well! Continue reading
