As seen above we couldn’t really tell the full extent of her costume and how or why she would even have the name of Catwoman when she didn’t have those adorable little ears. Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is coming to an end July 20, 2012, and a very talented fan, DeviantArtist Alexander Stojanov, created three posters of each of the Batman saga inspired by the Blade Runner posters drawn by Drew Struzan. Now the poster above may seem awfully familiar to you and it has nothing to do with Blade Runner; I’ll show you why and the other two brilliant posters after the break!
And there you have it folks. Hot off TheDarkKnightRises.com last night at 2am PST, the first official picture of Anne Hathaway as the sleuth Selina Kyle aka Catwoman has been released. But where are the ears?! I want them meow! I can dig everything else, the suit is in the essence of the Nolanverse being ideally realistic, but come on man, give me some cat ears or at the least a whip. Maybe she’ll have her whip in the movie, but I’m not seeing the iconic weapon here nor in the set photos after the jump!
Our second official Dark Knight Rises marketing piece has been released in the form of a teaser poster. Previously, the only other marketing materials we have seen thus far have been a great first look at our villain, Bane. But fear not my friends, for more Batman is upon us very soon! It has been said to believe that we will get our first glimpse at The Dark Knight Rises attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as a teaser trailer. After three long years of waiting, the first teaser trailer for the next and last installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy has been officially released online today. The Dark Knight Rises is slated to be released on Friday, July 20, 2012. You can check out the trailer after the jump!
So much anticipation is riding on Christopher Nolan’s next Batman flick that may cause so much overhype that it may suck. Spider-man 3 anybody? With so many villains, actors, and weight of the second film’s amazingness how can the third film stand up to all the pressure? Only time will tell when The Dark Knight Rises is released next Summer!
