Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for their upcoming female-driven, summer comedy Hot Pursuit. Directed by Anne Fletcher (Step Up; The Proposal; 27 Dresses), the movie sees Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line; Wild) running from the cartel to ensure the safety of Sofía Vergara (Modern Family) to bring her in for protective custody. TV writers David Feeney (New Girl; According to Jim) and John Quaintance (Joey; Whitney) penned the screenplay, which will hit theaters on May 8.
