What lies ahead of us? Where will mankind be 100 years, 500 years, or even 100 years into the future? We’ll never know, but if you are a film advocate like myself then you know that it can either get really freaking fantastic or go downhill anytime now. Netflix Continues to Dig Their Own Grave

The amount of fail that Netflix keeps building up is like the little engine that could. With the price hike in full effect at the beginning of this month, the ever so popular movie rental and streaming business has taken a turn for the worse. Of course it isn’t cheap to provide DVDs through mail or keep servers in full health day-after-day to keep you entertained, but Netflix continues to just bury itself a new grave one right after another.
Along with the price increase, Starz will not be renewing their distribution contract and Netflix will also be looking to separate into two different subscription names. Um what? It looks like Netflix can only be looking up from here right? How much worse could it possibly get? Continue reading
Twelve Years Later: ‘American Reunion’ Cast Photobooth Montage

Speaking of reunions, the original cast of American Pie are back and ready to serve another slice. Coincidentally, these pictures of the cast from the fourth film in the franchise (to make an appearance in the box office) comes twelve years after American Pie debuted back in 1999. For me, American Pie is one of the best comedies that will always fulfill my need for a chuckle. Check out the nostalgic montage after the break and be sure to catch American Reunion when it hits theaters April 6, 2012! Continue reading
‘Home Improvement’ Cast Reunion

If you’re like me, you have probably also seen every episode of Home Improvement and still watch reruns to this day. Twelve years later the entire main cast returns for an exclusive photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly’s annual reunion issue. This reunion did not mean as much to the cast as it did for Tim Allen (Tim Taylor) and Patricia Richardson (Jill Taylor) being able to see former teen heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas (Randy Taylor), now 30-years-old, who had not seen the duo since his departure from the show in 1998.

Armond White vs The World
If you don’t know who Armond White is, good, but if you read on, you’ll soon find out that he is probably one of the most hated film critics of all time. Out of all of the reviews from Toy Story 3, Armond White, the known critic for the New York Press, was the only professional critic to single-handedly give it a rotten review. He states, “Toy Story 3 is so besotted with brand names and product-placement that it stops being about the innocent pleasures of imagination — the usefulness of toys — and strictly celebrates consumerism.” Find out what Mr. White’s opinions are on some of the best and worst reviewed films of recent years after the break!
Nerdtastic Easter Eggs You May Have Missed
Of course some people may have always known that within Seinfeld there is a reference to Superman in every episode or that classic Disney animated features have secret sexual subliminal messages. But did thanks to Super Booyah, they have compiled a pretty awesome list of amazing Easter eggs that even you may have missed. Check out some great little movie/TV secrets after the break!
Community Season 3 Is Almost Here!

If you aren’t excited for the premiere of the third season of Community to air you are either 1) not a fan 2) have never seen the show or 3) a silly person that should gratefully take a full slap to the face. In my opinion, not only is Community one of the best shows on television right now, it is probably one of the best written comedies that has graced the boob tube in a long time. Check out the great sneak peek promo trailer for season 3 after the jump and be sure to catch the first episode of the third season Thursday September 22 at 8/7c!
Young Adult Teaser Poster
Let’s face it, anything Jason Reitman touches turns to gold. With Up In the Air, Juno, and Thank You For Smoking under his directorial belt, Reitman has quite the track record to practically surpass his old man, Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Stripes, Twins, Kindergarten Cop). Even with Diablo Cody’s screenplay, I think Reitman has the experience to keep the over-the-top dialogue in check; Jennifer’s Body anyone? Check out the first teaser poster and plot synopsis of Young Adult after the jump!
TeeHee: Harry Potter Rap Battles and More Funny Videos
I’ve got a collection of some great Harry Potter videos I’ve stored up because I’ve been way too lazy to write about and post them. I’ve got everything you need for a post HP fix now that you’ve probably seen the movie 18 times. Voldemort shows his softer side, Harry Potter ends differently, a Rebecca Black parody, a wizard rap battle between Gandalf and Dumbledore, and the final farewells from the cast, crew, and J.K. Rowling.
Check out all of these amazing videos after the jump!
Anticipation for ‘American Horror Story’ Builds
Not only has a new creepy teaser image/poster for American Horror Story appeared, but a brand new trailer full of actual footage has also been released and my anticipation couldn’t be any greater than it already is. The craving I have for good horror will hopefully be fulfilled this October 5 when the premiere episode of AHS finally airs on FX. Not only do I love horror, but what Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have already done with their previous creations, Nip/Tuck and Glee, only strengthens my trust in this program. Check out the full 30-second trailer after the break!
