It should come as no surprise that The LEGO Movie has earned itself a sequel. Garnering $468 million at the worldwide box office, it is one of the highest grossing movies of the year. And we have now learned that the writer directors of the first film, Chris Miller and Phil Lord, will be returning to write the sequel. Studio Ghibli fans can finally breathe a little easier today as Walt Disney Home Entertainment is proud to announce that they will be releasing Princess Mononoke on Blu-ray come November 18. Not only will one of the most beloved Ghibli classics be converted to the hi-def format, but Miyazaki’s final film, The Wind Rises, and one of his first, Kiki’s Delivery Service, will also be available on Blu-ray the same day. It’s been 10 years since Pixar’s The Incredibles made their big screen debut, and now Walt Disney Animation Studios has taken a crack at the superhero genre with their acquired Marvel Entertainment property Big Hero 6. Loosely adapted from the comic source material, this animated feature infuses that heartfelt Disney sensibility with Marvel‘s action-oriented storytelling.
