I’ve got a good list of some of the most anticipated films of 2010. Some I would really love to see and just a few here and there that are just some big names that a lot of people will see. From remakes to sequels to dramas to horror to comedy, 2010 has got it all. A little bit of this and a little bit of that, it looks like 2010 will be an interesting year of film. The full length trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass has finally been released and let me tell you, it is kick ass! Based off the graphic novel written by Mark Millar (Wanted), this off the wall superhero comedy/action flick blows Wanted out of the water. The film comes out April 16, and I suggest you watch this trailer and then definitely go see this film, other wise you should get your ass kicked.
James Cameron’s Avatar became the second-highest grossing film worldwide of all time on Wednesday. What makes it even worse is that it was in the film’s 20th day in theaters. WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?!?!?
Domestically, the it added $6.91 million to push its total to $374.4 million. The film has climbed to the 12th spot on the all-time domestic list, surpassing Spider-Man 2 ($373.6 million). Continue reading

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Avatar is not that original, just amazing innovation of technology. When I first saw the film I was getting hints of four different films: The Matrix, Dances With Wolves, Ferngully, and Pocahontas. Now the “proof” is here with this little summary of story comparison of Avatar VS. Pocahontas. The source could be claimed by /Film for me, but I have no idea where they got it from. This is a pretty funny comparison and it pretty much does sum it up to be the same film. Go figure………? You can click on the image to enlarge it to get a better look.
I stumbled on this epic ‘mural’ of someone’s portrayal of the Disney and Marvel Comics merge. I think it’s pretty cool and someone put some good thought into it. Click on the picture to enlarge it. Plus if you didn’t know, the Marvel share holders approved the buy out this past week or so. Word……
It’s amazing how much you don’t know how much blue/green screen they actually use in films these days and this little video will baffle you, unless you are really into film that much that you know the amount they use. Watch this little video and find yourself interested because this is pretty cool I think, so you should too if you read this.

Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the new trailer for The Dark Knight helmer Christopher Nolan’s Inception. Opening in conventional and IMAX theaters on July 16, the sci-fi actioner is set within the architecture of the mind and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine and Dileep Rao.
