I’ve got a collection of some great Harry Potter videos I’ve stored up because I’ve been way too lazy to write about and post them. I’ve got everything you need for a post HP fix now that you’ve probably seen the movie 18 times. Voldemort shows his softer side, Harry Potter ends differently, a Rebecca Black parody, a wizard rap battle between Gandalf and Dumbledore, and the final farewells from the cast, crew, and J.K. Rowling.

So you’re lonely, desperate, and in need of that special someone. According to film, there are plenty of offbeat ways to win the girl of your dreams. If you successfully duplicate the efforts of these men from film you’re bound to get the girl one way or another, right?
There’s nothing like a stroll through the park. To celebrate the grand re-opening/re-imaging of Star Tours at Disneyland, DisneyParks put together a fun little short following Darth Vader on his day off. If you were the dark lord of the Sith what ride would you go on? I know if I had Sith powers I’d definitely use force choke to my advantage if rides broke down. How much can you know about yourself if you haven’t cuddled? Fight Club parodies have probably been done to death (Example 1; Example 2&3) and I, myself, find the movie a bit overrated; as great as the movie is, walk through a freshman dorm and you’ll find a poster of Fight Club in at least 1 out of every 10 rooms of your typical American male college student.
Cuddle Club, written, produced, and starring Noah Baron and Ross Willett, takes the concept of Fight Club and pulls a complete 180°. It’s a fun concept, but it isn’t anything spectacular. I do give him credit for a complete shot-for-shot remake of the original trailer for Fight Club. Check out Cuddle Club after the break!
I love 5 Second Films because not only are they creatively ingenious they are also amazingly simple fun that just reeks of awesomesauce. Patton Oswalt recently joined the team of filmmakers to embark on a wizarding journey.
There’s a little surprise twist at the end, like many of their work, that is a tad on the offensive side perhaps? It will make you laugh, but it will also make you feel dirty for enjoying it, in my opinion. Take a gander at the video after the break!
Most advertising and commercials are pushed aside and never thought of again, but every once in a while you will come across a diamond in the rough that is completely unforgettable. Sometimes it is just the simplest ideas that take off and springboard conversation at your next water cooler visit. It is commercials like these that put trust in my decision to pursue a life in this industry. If I could create one unforgettable commercial like this than I know I have fulfilled my dreams. To see what I’m talking about you’ll just have to watch the video after the jump because I don’t want to give away any spoilerific details (even though the title in the embed will probably give it away… SO NO PEEKING!)
Illustrator and cool guy Dan Meth creates a lot of fun pop-culture pieces that reflect his quirky mind. He has been slowly developing various pop-culture graphs/charts in his spare time and his recent one had caught my eye. What if Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too needed meds, and what about that Christopher Robin fellow, he doesn’t seem all too right in his head. It’s something that’s just funny, which makes the Internets that much more entertaining! Check out more of Dan Meth’s charts and his other work as well too!
Haven’t had enough Harry Potter yet, well I’ve got one more post for you! Now I’d like to give credit where credit is due, but I can’t seem to find any original artist or poster on this illustration. There is a full on epic banner after the jump that your eyes must see! The entire cast is included in this beautiful drawing and it is not one to miss!
It’s only a matter of time before something like this is going to happen. I don’t think J.K. Rowling’s gold throne in her platinum mansion with her diamond crown is going to suit her much longer if the Harry Potter franchise loses its steam. You meet a lot of strange and colorful individuals through all different kinds of animated features and shows. The genius minds over at Slate.com decided to create an amazing spectrum of color utilizing various different animated characters throughout time in honor of The Smurfs releasing this past weekend. There are so many iconic figures in this wheel that it brings way too much nostalgia that I might strike a tear. Doubtful since I removed my tear ducts in a surgery last fall.
