Now I’ve never played any of the games relating to the Silent Hill franchise, but I have seen the first movie adaptation that released in 2006. What I like about this series is that it goes beyond horror; there is something more to it than just a simple haunting or a serial killer chasing down teens. This low budget spook fest has garnered its fair shares of pros and cons, but it always continues to stay fresh compared to other horror series that have gone on to a fourth film. You don’t see too many smash hit, teen comedies these days. Aside from Mean Girls, it’s tough aiming for a younger audience while riding on the fence between teen and adult comedy. It has to be relevant enough for the younger audience, but raunchy and funny enough to keep the attention of older audiences. (John Hughes was able to maintain this balance perfectly.) After watching the trailer for Fun Size, I believe we may have something here that will delight most audiences.
