There’s never a lack of imagination that can be found because filmmakers can always stretch the boundaries of the genre to present unique stories never seen before. Last time we saw the god of thunder in his own standalone picture was back in 2011. And despite the Thor universe being less grounded in reality than any superhero movie we’ve seen before, Marvel Studios stood their ground, took a chance on the character, and raked in a respectable $449.3 million worldwide at the box office. Making their way on stage during Marvel Studio’s presentation at D23 Expo this morning, stars Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins made themselves available to present a clip from Thor: The Dark World. What was shown, that hasn’t made its way online yet, depicts the first meeting of Jane Foster and Odin, protector of the Nine Realms.
