Jake Gyllenhaal Passes on ‘Suicide Squad’ After Tom Hardy’s Exit
Only a little over a month after the casting announcement for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, Tom Hardy has dropped out of his role as Rick Flag. Hardy made the decision to leave the film due to a conflicting schedule with another project he is working on. Warner Bros. is full steam ahead with David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Moved to March 2016; 13 More WB Movies Announced
DC fans will be excited to learn that Warner Bros. has moved up the release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by two months. The film, which was slated to be released on May 6, 2016, will now be slated for March 25, 2016. Comic-Con 2014: The Batman 75th Anniversary Exhibit and Batfleck Cape and Cowl
In celebration of his 75th Anniversary, DC Entertainment has dedicated their booth this year to all things Batman. The caped crusader was on full display with all kinds of props, art, and other memorabilia from the past 75 years.
