Where Was A ‘Mad Men’ Course When I Went to School?

No, but seriously why did I go to a school that offered nothing, but boring stereotypical classes that offered very little insight into something remotely attention worthy and enjoyable? The Huffington Post reports that Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois will now be offering a consumerism studies class on the hit television series, Mad Men.

A Real American Pie Sequel in Progress

One of my favorite franchises has been on the verge of an actual sequel to American Wedding for a little while now and Comingsoon.net got an exclusive word from producer Craig Perry on the status of the upcoming Americna Pie sequel, written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle). American Pie came out in 1999 and the last official theatrical release, American Wedding, debuted in 2003. It has been almost a decade and four direct to DVD movies since the franchise’s theatrical release death. This new movie that is in the works is neither a remake nor a reboot, but an actual sequel! Will we see the cast return? Catch the news after the jump!

‘Black Swan’ Production Design Featurette

A great featurette for Darren Aronofosky’s Black Swan recently released to InConnection. In this short four minute section, we get a taste of what Aronofosky and production designer Thérèse DePrez were thinking when it came time to set the tone of the atmosphere in which the actors would interact with. The featurette hints on how colors and props were integrated throughout the film encompassing story arc and character development. Did you ever expect to get a reprieve after the events of the Lost season finale? Well you can take comfort knowing that Damon Lindelof is sorry for what happened if you were thoroughly disappointed in what happened in the end of Lost. Mindtrip Trailer for Duncan Jones’ Source Code

This is a late entry, but I figured I was still fascinated by the story behind Duncan Jones’ new movie, Source Code. Of course, Mr. Jones was the visionary mind behind the low budget, under the radar, indie flick Moon. Since this is a Duncan Jones film, I am really interested to see how his sophomore work will turn out. It looks pretty well done, but trailers don’t always tell the entire tale.  Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, and Jeffrey Wright. You can check out the trailer after the break or in at Apple.com for full 1080p.

T-He: Nicolas Cage Losing His Sh*t!

After a seven minute video of Arnold Schwarzenneger yelling, who would have thought a better video would come along so quickly soon after? This over four minute video showcases some of Nicolas Cage’s best nut job moments in film when he absolutely loses his shit to the tune of Clint Mansell’s Requiem for a Dream theme, Lux Aeterna. Or perhaps it’s just his regular routine…

This video comes from hh1edits, who recently created a well masterful montage of Fox Searchlight’s last 15 years of film.
