Better known as the voice of Lois Griffin on Family Guy these days, Alex Borstein has returned to her early days as THE Ms. Swan. The ex-MadTV star has written and produced an awesome parody of 2010’s classic Black Swan. What is a Foley you ask? Well a foley is a person who is in charge of imagining the elements that are made up of a sound to replicate it for actions in film. You’d never think that they would have to recreate all of the sounds you hear when you are watching a movie, but in fact, most of the sounds you hear are not recorded while filming the actors. In Cased You Missed It: Watch Pixar’s Day & Night
Although it may have been defeated at the Oscars, which was an upset in my opinion, Pixar’s Day & Night, directed by Teddy Newsom, was an absolute joy to watch. It’s amazing and uncanny how ingenious these people are. Day & Night just mixes intelligent story making with beautiful animation.
