250 Movie Character Introductions

Sometimes the best moment in a film can be the introduction to a character. One guy would like to recognize these moments that can go completely overlooked if they are done too quickly. Think back to the past few movies you’ve seen, can you remember any of the character introductions? They come by more often than you think. They do not register to you unless they are very powerful aka Spartcus, but sometimes they can be really great moments and this video will prove it.  Check out exophrine’s video after the jump!

T-He: Fight Club Reinvisioned By Senior Citizens and Jane Austen

One could agree, that David Fincher’s Fight Club is one of the greatest achievements in cinematic history, but then again others could turn that argument right back in your face. I am in between. I think it is a little overrated, but is still a great film. I think it’s just all those stupid tools who live and die by this movie, just like The Big Lebowski or The Boondock Saints that make me not love the films as much as I should. But I digress, Break.com created an amazing parody of the famous film with a senior citizen twist. And on the other end, some ladies at TwoTurntablesNMic’s YouTube channel created another parody based off the work and time period of Jane Austen. Check them out after the break!

A Beautiful International Black Swan Poster

My anticipation of this film cannot contain itself, but alas there is not a theater in sight within 60 minutes of me where I can go see it. When it gets closer I will be there in a heartbeat. But until then, you can go after the jump to let your eyes witness this beautiful international trailer thanks to Glamour!

Collider Says To Believe in Dark of the Moon!

The lucky ones at Collider got to join a few other film writers on an adventure to Bay Films to witness over 20 minutes of unfinished footage of Transformers Dark of the Moon. Questions were answered, hope was raised, and explosions were witnessed. They also got to interview Michael Bay for over two hours, which they say is quite uncommon for the filmmaker. Steve Weintraub praises the 3D and the cinematography shown claiming, “The 3rd film has huge scope and some ridiculously awesome action set pieces.  I saw some stuff that I have never seen in any movie.” You can check out his 22 minute Vlog with AICN Mr. Beaks after the break or go to the article itself at Collider to read all the Transformers Dark of the Moon information with a few minor spoilers.

All Four Dream Levels of Inception in a Real-Time Split Screen

This is an ingenious use of video editing to showcase the genius behind Chris Nolan’s Inception. I’m sure they can’t all have been exactly aligned together with some of the sequences perhaps shown longer shots than the other dream sequences, but these guy(s) really got it down to as precise as they could. Check out this great video, not awesome video, after the break!

‘The Beaver’ Trailer and the Hilarious Recut Version

I’ve never counted out Mel Gibson as an actor, and although he has not made the wisest social choices in his life, he still is a talented actor. Could this be the revival to his career that he needs? Maybe? I wouldn’t mark this as something monumental, but this trailer shows a very unique film that will definitely bring back his career or just continue his constant ridicule as the talking beaver guy now. Which brings us to the second half of the title of this post. Unfortunately for Gibson, someone submitted a video to Funny or Die of a recut the trailer for The Beaver to include his vocalized rants as the beaver’s voice. Oh well. Props to Jodie Foster as well for directing this piece too. Catch both videos after the break.

A Real American Pie Sequel in Progress

One of my favorite franchises has been on the verge of an actual sequel to American Wedding for a little while now and Comingsoon.net got an exclusive word from producer Craig Perry on the status of the upcoming Americna Pie sequel, written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle). American Pie came out in 1999 and the last official theatrical release, American Wedding, debuted in 2003. It has been almost a decade and four direct to DVD movies since the franchise’s theatrical release death. This new movie that is in the works is neither a remake nor a reboot, but an actual sequel! Will we see the cast return? Catch the news after the jump!
