Who knew that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had a sense of humor? With multiple threats of the end of the world, including 2012 and the crazy Harold Camping, many believe that they should start stocking up for a possible zombie apocalypse. They have a lot of precautions to stock up on water, food, and first aid, but there is nothing about arming yourself for self-defense. I know that if there was a zombie outbreak that I would head to the nearest gun store or Wal-Mart to adequately stock up on essential armaments, Gatorade, and Spaghetti-O’s! If you feel that you should listen to what the government feels you should do in a supposed zombie shenanigans, check out the CDC website for more info!

I’ve always thought I had a knack to pick out friends who look like celebrities, but the people at NextMovie.com have compared celebrities to each other and found some great long lost “twins”. Some of these you may have already noticed, but some of these are just completely mind-boggling similar. Check ’em out after the jump!
Going into the third weekend of May, the 2011 Summer movie season has been in full swing. Some would say that this year has been so packed full of high intensity big budget blockbusters that the Summer movie season started in March.
There is no doubt that 2011 has had some pretty thrilling and explosive movies before now with Battle: Los Angeles, Sucker Punch, Rango, Fast Five, Source Code, Hanna, and Scream 4, but the real heavy hitters have only just begun.
Summer movies can be pretty formulaic in terms of their content: bigger explosions, glossy cinematography, incredible scores, and big name actors, but looking past the stereotypes, the Summer of 2011 will absolutely rape your wallet in my opinion. I believe there won’t be a single weekend where I won’t be visiting the theaters until mid August.

One of my most favorite movies ever to watch over and over again would have to be (500) Days of Summer. Recently, I have come to appreciate and love, the somewhat of a sleeper hit, but more under-appreciated NBC comedy, Community. If you put them both together you come up with an awesome little parody trailer for a fictional movie (500) Days of Britta. If you are unfamiliar with the movie (500) Days of Summer or Community, well, YOU BETTER GET ON IT! But in all seriousness folks, (500) Days of Summer is a great movie about love and loss between a couple and Community has a pair of interestingly fun characters who always have some sort of sexual tension, especially in the first season, Jeff and Britta. I cannot say exactly where this short film surfaced, but all I know is that it is incredibly awesome. The original video might have come from Vimeo user, alfa primo, but it also may have come from YouTube user, burlenzi. This short film could be categorized as a dark comedy in my eyes. There is an unexpected twist you may not see coming, but you will find it quite amusing. Catch the Mahna Mahna Killer after the break!
Boston is its own little culture in film. You can distinctly figure out if a character is from Boston within the first moment they open their mouth and the foul language and their thick accent starts pouring out. Let’s not be stereotypical here, there is more to Bostonians than just a few F-bombs and the mispronunciation of the letter ‘R’. Who are we kidding? In most Boston related movies the citizens are portrayed as their stereotypes to their full extent. The people at ScreenJunkies have created a hilarious representational video of this culture and you can view all the fahkin’ goodness after the break! Don’t forget to pahk the cah!
