The first official full-length trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues has just been released and it feels like everyone is slipping right back into character perfectly. Within the trailer we see the actual footage of the new film and how the Channel 4 News Team is adjusting the 1980s. There has been much anticipation surrounding J.J. Abrams’ follow-up sequel Star Trek Into Darkness, and the mystery box has finally been opened. Star Trek Into Darkness delivers on many of the same levels its predecessor reboot had done upon its release, and it also fails in similar fashion as well. Basically, what I’m saying here is that this new Star Trek universe lacks balls, but is highly enjoyable to watch. Continue reading
Exactly one year after Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, audiences every where have been anxiously awaiting Marvel Studios‘ Iron Man 3. You would think with how successful The Avengers has become, Iron Man 3 should have no problem coasting toward success. Financially, Iron Man 3 should do gangbusters – it already has overseas – but since Marvel has opened Pandora’s box to a greater cinematic universe, the true victory will rely on whether this film can hold up on its own without the crutch of the other Avengers. Audiences were given more than a treat during this year’s Super Bowl XLVII when the new promo spot for Iron Man 3 aired. The marketing team continues to do a fantastic job giving away only a taste of what’s to come, never revealing too much. Paranormal Activity was a step in the right direction for horror. Unfortunately the follow up, Paranormal Activity 2, took audiences a step backward. Lucky for us, Paranormal Activity 3 pushes the found footage franchise two steps forward.
