Although June 21st is the first official day of summer, Hollywood sees differently. Because there are not enough days in the year to pack all of the explosive, sexy, fast-paced blockbusters in just one season, May has been championed as the unofficial beginnings of summer. We’ve seen some spectacular summer movie seasons before and we have had our stinkers. Starting with Iron Man 3, this summer promises to be one of the best in quite some time – I have a husband’s bulge just thinking about it. For those who attended WonderCon this past weekend, many who sat in on the Sony Pictures panel got an early sneak peek at Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s This Is The End. Conventioneers got a taste of two special clips and the first exclusive look at the full-length green band trailer. This is the End WonderCon 2013

Movie goers eagerly awaiting the release of This is the End got a very special treat at WonderCon this past weekend. With Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, and co-writer-directors Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen hitting the stage, hilarity ensued. Day 2 of WonderCon goes bigger with panels on Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, and This is the End. There’s a great panel on horror movie music, which includes discussion from composer Tyler Bates. Capcom is also hosting their own panel to talk about Remember Me, Lost Planet 3, Resident Evil: Revelations, Darkstalkers Resurrection, and more.
