Community Season 3 Is Almost Here!

If you aren’t excited for the premiere of the third season of Community to air you are either 1) not a fan 2) have never seen the show or 3) a silly person that should gratefully take a full slap to the face. In my opinion, not only is Community one of the best shows on television right now, it is probably one of the best written comedies that has graced the boob tube in a long time. Check out the great sneak peek promo trailer for season 3 after the jump and be sure to catch the first episode of the third season Thursday September 22 at 8/7c!

Anticipation for ‘American Horror Story’ Builds

Not only has a new creepy teaser image/poster for American Horror Story appeared, but a brand new trailer full of actual footage has also been released and my anticipation couldn’t be any greater than it already is. The craving I have for good horror will hopefully be fulfilled this October 5 when the premiere episode of AHS finally airs on FX. Not only do I love horror, but what Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have already done with their previous creations, Nip/Tuck and Glee, only strengthens my trust in this program. Check out the full 30-second trailer after the break!

The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra Trailer

Not only was the movie, The Last Airbender, a horrible adaptation of a great animated series, but it was a complete insult to everything that  Avatar: The Last Airbender had created. With hopes of redemption, I believe that The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra will make up for M. Night Shamalamadingdong’s failure and save this once great franchise. At this year’s Comic-Con, the folks at Nickelodeon had brought the first trailer for The Legend of Korra and it was more than anyone could have dreamed of. Watch the spectacular trailer after the jump!

The Amazing Spider-man Teaser Trailer

A few weeks ago, right before Comic-Con, the first teaser trailer for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-man hit the Internets. Some have said it to be a lot darker than Sam Raimi’s trilogy, which makes it easily stand on its own, while others question what Sony Pictures may have in store for this property.

There is no official plot synopsis yet, not even from the official website, but from what most have gathered Spider-man, played by Andrew Garfield (The Social Network; Never Let Me Go) will be facing off against Doc Connors aka “The Lizard,” played by Rhys Ifans (Pirate Radio; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1; Notting Hill) in a complete reboot and origin story with no Mary Jane in tow. Replacing Mary Jane Watson as the love interest will be Gwen Stacy, played by the natural blonde Emma Stone (Easy A; Superbad; The Help).

Catch the teaser trailer after the jump along with a few other production stills!

‘Like Crazy’ Trailer and Poster

This trailer for Like Crazy is the purest definition of an indie film ever. Even without the horrible sound mixing of the trailer it just reeks of independent filmmaking. I can’t tell you why the music overshadows half of the dialogue in this trailer, but what I can tell you is that this film won the Sundance Film Festivals “Best Picture Grand Jury Prize” and “Best Actress Special Jury Prize” for Felicity Jones’ performance.

It looks like this year’s Blue Valentine, which was a film I held in my top 10 best films of 2011. It has a great young cast: Anton Yelchin (Alpha Dog, Charlie Bartlett, Star Trek), Felicity Jones (Northanger Abbey, The Tempest), Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone, X-Men: First Class, The Hunger Games ), and Charlie Bewley (Twilight New Moon and Eclipse). The director is unknown to me, Drake Doremus (Douchebag; Moonpie), but if a director can pull off the biggest award of Sundance than he is someone to look out for and I’ll definitely be waiting in anticipation for this film!

Check out the full trailer and synopsis of Like Crazy after the jump and be sure to look out for this film when it comes out October 28!

Spoil Yourself With Six Minutes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

So you say you just can’t wait one more week until you get your Harry Potter fix? You honestly would rather see a few clips in order to pump yourself up for what is surely to become one of the greatest endings  to a cinematic saga of all time? Well you’re in luck because I’m here to spoil the pants off of you.

I hate spoilers, I won’t do it anymore. After what Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen did with their marketing campaign two years ago, I will not even watch a TV spot to a movie anymore. They seriously showed all of the action scenes from that movie and for as terrible as it was, if you showcase all of your money shots before anyone sees the movie, than what’s left?

But fear not my friends as I will openly give you the chance to ruin Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 for yourself if you deem it necessary. Cinema Blend has eight clips that will quench your thirst for Harry Potter. I have not watched them myself as I stated just a mere paragraph ago that I LOATHE spoilers, but I am giving this to you because I am not mean or greedy. If you like the spoiler thing, than be my guest. Go straight to CinemaBlend.com right now to check out what is in store in the final chapter of the Harry Potter epic.

Epic Transformers Dark of the Moon 3D Theatrical Trailer in 2D!

What is said to be Michael Bay’s final contribution to the Transformers film franchise is turning out to be more spectacular than both movies combined. Go big or go home, right? This new 3D trailer that was in front of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides speaks for itself. Watching this massive trailer on an IMAX screen in 3D was almost worth more of my time than watching POTC itself (only because the trailer was two and a half minutes and not a whole movie). According to Transformers Live Action Movie Blog, this will be the last of the trailers we’ll be seeing before the film hits theaters June 29, not July 1 anymore. Check out the trailer in 2D after the jump where I also snagged 188 stills too!

Crystal Dynamics Debuts First ‘Tomb Raider’ Trailer

Tomb Raider Turning Point Screenshot 22

The first trailer for Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider reboot has finally surfaced and for those seeking a shoot ’em up adventure, you better look elsewhere. Tomb Raider looks to be far and away from the 1996 classic, and for modern gamers, this might be the exact re-imagining of Lara Croft you want to get your hands on. Continue reading

The Infamous Dead Island Trailer

I know I haven’t been posting anything recently and I know I may be a little late to the party with this video, but you still have to admit that the Dead Island video game trailer is one of the most intricate, haunting, stunning, and beautiful video game trailers ever made. It could be said that this has more integrity than some movie trailers out there. If you haven’t seen this amazing video catch it after the break along with an additional bonus video!
