In an exclusive first-look, Empire Magazine will be revealing 25 different covers today – one every hour – each featuring a different character from Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Everyone’s favorite web-slinger is back for his next adventure as Sony Pictures debuts the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This past Comic-Con, fans got their first look at Electro, the big bad Spidey has to face while searching for the truth behind the death of his parents. Worlds collide on May 23, 2014 when both X-Men from the old guard and new join forces to stop the impeding doom of complete obliteration. The first trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past dropped this past week and easily has become one of the most anticipated movies of the new year. Bryan Singer is back with Magnetos, Professor Xaviers, Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Blink, Bishop, Iceman, Kitty Pride, Mystique, and Beast. The whole gang is here sans Jean and the Juggernaut, bitch. With Disney’s Frozen coming out later this winter, animation fans are already buzzing about the studio’s next feature film. A Marvel/Disney hybrid, Big Hero 6 is the first collaborative adaptation between the two houses. Directed by Don Hall (2011’s Winnie the Pooh), the movie follows the story of a 14-year-old boy genius named Hiro who lives in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo. With The Wolverine now out in theaters, 20th Century Fox can put more focus on the marketing efforts of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Having just left Comic-Con in good graces, there has been much buzz and excitement surrounding the next X-Men film. Comic-Con kicked off some great momentum for X-Men: Days of Future Past. With the reveal of the Sentinels and exclusive footage shown in Hall H, the marketing train has left the station. Four brand new posters have revealed themselves to the public; two of which bear similarities to those released for X-Men: First Class. Since I’ve only had the chance to see half of what there is outside of the convention center and just a fraction of the SDCC showroom floor, today I had my work cut out for me. Thursday at Comic-Con 2013 was quite the hectic day. Jam packed full of panels, it’s amazing how this convention is a mere four days long. Trying to see everything is almost suicidal. It’s like an amusement park. However, I made it today’s mission to get the most out of the time I had at SDCC. With five panels on my agenda, Thursday was quite the adventure. And so it begins. Comic-Con 2013 is upon us and it has taken San Diego by storm. Preview Night of SDCC started at 6pm this evening and already there were lines leading out of the convention center. The streets of the Gaslamp Quarter were paved with attendees and tourists alike, taking in the sights before the madness begins tomorrow.
