10:00am – 11:00am Are You Ready, Kids?: Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants – The cast of SpongeBob is back! All your Bikini Bottom favorites are on hand to perform Idiot Box at a live table read as chosen by the fans online. Featuring Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), and Dee Bradley Baker (all other Biukini Bottomites.. Following the performance will be a Q&A with the cast and creative director, Vincent Waller. Plus, a sneak peek at a new episode and fan trivia with prizes. 10:00am – 11:00am Avatar the Last Airbender: Legend and Legacy – The story of Aang and Korra has ended in one form but continues in graphic novels and through the fans. For over six years, Avatar Legacy has been hosting panels celebrating the fans’ love and loyalty. Moderated by Avatar_Mom, this year’s panelists are Magda E. (artist), Kevin Coppa (Puppetbenders creator), Giancarlo Volpe (director ATLA, producer Green Lantern the Animated Series), Aaron Ehasz (head writer ATLA), Dante Basco (voice actor, Zuko), Jack DeSena (voice actor, Sokka), and Darcy Rose Byrnes (Voice actor, Ikki). Experienced animation show creators including Dean Stefan (Matchbox Big Rig Buddies, Quack Pack), Rob Hoegee (Thunderbirds are Go!, Teen Titans), Holly Huckins (Rugrats, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West), John Derevlany (LEGO Legends of Chima, Endangered Species), and Craig Miller (Curious George, Beast Wars) take suggestions called out by people in the audience for a genre, a main character, other characters, and the world it takes place in. The panel will provide a take on how a show is created, all the elements you need to take into consideration, and why the idea of it being about this or that would be too expensive. 11:15am – 12:15pm Blindspot Pilot Screening and Q&A – Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor films) star in Blindspot, a one-hour action thriller from Berlanti Productions (The Flash, Arrow, Pan) and writer/executive producer Martin Gero (Stargate: Atlantis). Stapleton stars as hardened FBI agent Kurt Weller, who is drawn into a complex conspiracy when a naked amnesiac, Jane Doe (Alexander), is found in Times Square covered in a series of cryptic tattoos, including his name on her back.
