Fabio Challenges Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa to a Duel

Have you missed your favorite Old Spice guy Isaiah Mustafa lately? Well fear not, Wieden+Kennedy has brought him back to duel the hairlicious Italian spokesmodel Fabio to prove who is the true Old Spice guy. While Isaiah Mustafa was probably saving baby seals with a laser gun that extracts from his chest, Fabio got it in his thick hair that he should be the new Old Spice guy. (The fact that they still label Isaiah Mustafa just as “Old Spice Guy” is pretty funny and sad.) This epic duel of man candy went back and forth this week “Baño a Baño” to settle who is the true “Old Spice guy.” And as the short viral campaign closed the true victor was declared by the people! Our second official Dark Knight Rises marketing piece has been released in the form of a teaser poster. Previously, the only other marketing materials we have seen thus far have been a great first look at our villain, Bane. But fear not my friends, for more Batman is upon us very soon! It has been said to believe that we will get our first glimpse at The Dark Knight Rises attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as a teaser trailer. If you know any of Christopher Nolan’s previous teasers for his movies you know how vague they can be. Saturday’s Schedule for The San Diego Comic-Con 2011

If you ever wanted to let your geek flag fly high and proud than Saturday is your day! On Satruday, the San Diego Comic-Con will house a full array of anything you could ever ask for in a convention. From discussions on the future of comics to the inspirational words of Joss Whedon, this day is your day. You can learn how to draw in one room and learn about the future of Avatar: The Legend of Korra in another. Panels will discus videogames, anime, manga, steampunk, and so much more. I’m still really really pissed I wasn’t able to get a badge for this thing.

The ever so infamous Hall H will be graced by the presence of FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA as he presents his panel on his new film TWIXT! How ridiculous is that?! Unfortunately the bigger guns like The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Superman: Man of Steel are not making a big presence, if any, at the con, but you will be getting previews of Snow White and the Huntsmen, Dorothy of Oz, Knights of Badassdom, and Immortals. Even Kevin Smith will be in Hall H.
