While the first trailer for Disney’s upcoming, live-action adaptation of Cinderella focused more on reassuring audiences that this would be the story they know and love, this second trailer delves more into uncharted territory. Questions of human values and moral compass are raised as well as a more sinister plot from the wicked stepmother is revealed. Although this iteration looks like it will stick close to the story Disney original told in 1950, there seems to be a few twists added for this generation of moviegoers.
