‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Super Bowl Extended Trailer is Action Packed (100 Screenshots)
Marvel Cinematic Universe fans received an extra special treat this past weekend during Super Bowl 48 as the second trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuted. Giving more insights as to where the sequel to Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) journey will take us, this new trailer gives a better look at The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) himself. Michael Douglas Cast as Hank Pym in Marvel’s Ant-Man; Paul Rudd Confirmed as Scott Lang
In an official announcement made by Marvel Studios today, it has been confirmed that Michael Douglas (Wall Street; Basic Instinct; Traffic) will play the role of Hank Pym in Edgar Wright’s new film Ant-Man. First appearing in “Tales to Astonish” #27 in January 1962, Pym was the first to don the Ant-Man suit, as well as one of the founding members of The Avengers. Douglas will star alongside Paul Rudd (I Love You, Man; Role Models) who will play Scott Lang, another character in the Marvel Universe who has appeared as Ant-Man. ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Thunders its way on to DVD and Blu-Ray February 25; Digital HD Feb. 4
Thor: The Dark World‘s favorite step brothers, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston), have just been announced to arrive on home video February 25, with a special Digital 3D and HD release on February 4. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is pulling out all of the stops with a slew of special features, particularly in the anticipation for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Movie Review: Galactic Fun with Marvel Simplicity
Last time we saw the god of thunder in his own standalone picture was back in 2011. And despite the Thor universe being less grounded in reality than any superhero movie we’ve seen before, Marvel Studios stood their ground, took a chance on the character, and raked in a respectable $449.3 million worldwide at the box office. And Marvel hopes to see the character continue to grow in Thor: The Dark World. D23 Expo 2013: Jane Meets Odin of Asgard in ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Clip
Making their way on stage during Marvel Studio’s presentation at D23 Expo this morning, stars Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins made themselves available to present a clip from Thor: The Dark World. What was shown, that hasn’t made its way online yet, depicts the first meeting of Jane Foster and Odin, protector of the Nine Realms.
