With less than a month to go, Disney•Pixar has released one final trailer for Monsters University in less than two weeks after the most recent one. We all know how powerful Pixar is in drawing an audience, but is a new trailer necessary ten days after the release of an already decent one? It’s not a bad trailer, it’s quite good, but could they be overloading fans of Monsters, Inc. with too much footage from the new movie? There is a slight spoiler in the new trailer, which you can find after the break. Watch at your own risk. Continue reading

‘The Hangover Part III’ Movie Review: Not the Trilogy we Asked for, but the Ending we Deserve
If the movie trailers and the posters live up to their promise, this is the end for The Wolfpack as we know it. Director Todd Phillips has proclaimed The Hangover Part III as the epic finale of one of the most polarizing franchises of all time. Not disliking Part II myself, as much as everyone else, I still held reservations against Part III. Going in with low expectations, I can say that The Hangover Part III makes up for the disastrous Part II, but comes nowhere near the level of the original. Continue reading

Basically, what I’m saying here is that this new Star Trek universe lacks balls, but is highly enjoyable to watch. Continue reading

Party Hard with New ‘Monsters University’ Trailer (75 Screenshots)
I never thought it possible to infuse Andrew W.K. into a Disney•Pixar movie, but the fine folks in the marketing department made it possible in this brand new, fast-paced Monsters University trailer. For those in the Greek system, Monsters U. may resonate more than to a GDI (Gosh Darn Independent), but either way, this new footage promises a lot a laughs and a great new adventure for Mike and Sully. Check out the trailer after the jump. Continue reading
‘The Great Gatsby’ Movie Review: Style Over Substance Only Goes So Far
Overcoming a delayed release, no matter the reason, is never an easy task for a film to overcome. Any way you look at it, many films that end up being pushed back to a later date never fair too well, but Baz Luhrmann does an OK job at disproving this trend. The Great Gatsby is not a perfect adaptation by far, but there are plenty of elements in this film that avoid making it a complete disaster. Continue reading
