If you thought Ms. Rowling was finished in the wizarding world of Harry Potter than you are sorely mistaken my friends. JoJo has been whipping up an extra batch of HP goodness in her cauldron of secrets. Many had speculated what Pottermore.com could have been, but if you have been living under an Internet rock (since this news was revealed over a week ago) than you might not have known that J.K. Rowling has been developing a free online-reading experience built around the Harry Potter world. Check out the full press release after the jump and watch the official video message from Rowling herself in regards to Pottermore!

Neato: Netflix Sleeves Become Useful Canvases
Believe it or not, as annoying as the Netflix rental sleeves can be, they can also provide you with a canvas of opportunity. Some Netflix subscribers took the liberty of having some fun with their sleeves and slapped their art on them before they returned their movies back to the sweat shop where they keep all the elves stuffing more movie envelopes that get horribly scratched in the process. I mean come on, those DVDs are so badly scratched sometimes, I don’t know how they send them out like that. For shame. I digress, check out some other Netflix sleeve art after the jump!
Neato: Welcome to The Lord of the Rings: Middle-Lego-Earth
These days there is a convention for everything: robots, food, porn, comics, and even furries. Let me take you into the land of BrickWorld where everything LEGO is possible. LEGO is THE toy that allows you to create anything imaginable (see LEGO Sniper Rifle). A group of people put together a massive collaborative effort for this year’s BrickWorld 2011 convention in Wheeling, IL. They brought into fruition almost every element of The Lord of the Rings trilogy and built Middle-Earth brick by brick. It is almost inconceivable how amazing these models are. Chris Phipson wrote about this epic project at MOCpages, a site where you can share your LEGO creations to the world. You can check out a lot of his and other’s collaborative work after the jump!

TeeHee: The Office: Metal Gear Solid Edition
The recession is hitting everyone and since the culmination of the events from Metal Gear Solid 4 even Solid Snake is in need of some work. The fine folks at Blue Core Studios have started a new web-series original, Metal Gear Office. If you couldn’t tell based off the title, this is a spoof on everyones favorite television work place, The Office, with a Metal Gear Solid twist. It’s pretty entertaining and you can check out the first episode after the jump. Hopefully we’ll see more episodes in the future!
TeeHee: Evidence That The Dark Knight Rises May Suck
So much anticipation is riding on Christopher Nolan’s next Batman flick that may cause so much overhype that it may suck. Spider-man 3 anybody? With so many villains, actors, and weight of the second film’s amazingness how can the third film stand up to all the pressure? Only time will tell when The Dark Knight Rises is released next Summer!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Posters Galore!
With less than two weeks to go, the end of an era that is the Harry Potter film franchise will come to a close. With the the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Warner Bros. has released some pretty awesome posters that any potter fan would die to get their hands on.
I’m just a big fan of the marketing. The fact that they don’t even have to use the full title of the movie on any of them other than HP7: Part 2 just goes to show how much of a impact this brand has on consumers. It’s like McDonald’s just using their golden arches or Starbucks removing their name from their cups. I kind of wish they took out the HP7: Part 2 from the poster and just stuck with just the tagline.
The continuous tagline, “It All Ends” sums everything up perfectly. No other words could solidify what the past 10 years have been leading up to. After the jump you’ll be treated to 11 hi-res character posters along with four other epic poster art.
E3 2011: Nintendo Press Conference
When it comes down to it, Nintendo always has the most innovate ways to spice up the videogame world incorporating a non-traditional gameplay to each of their systems. The DS brought dual screens to handheld gaming, the Wii brought motion control, the 3DS incorporates glassesless 3D imaging, and now the Wii-U brings a whole new way to play with the controller. After the jump check out all the big news from the Nintendo press conference from E3 2011.
My Thoughts on E3 2011 Day 1
Videogaming has always come second nature to me whether it involved sports, FPSs, RPGs, action, and all the rest. I have always been fond of the videogaming industry and this year I was able to catch all of the major announcements from Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and Sony today thanks to the lovely people at G4. Many big surprises and some disappointments. Mostly, I’ve found this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is somewhat average, thus far. I don’t own a Playstation 3 or an XBOX 360, but a lot of games they showed today really made me want to buy them, but nothing huge has struck my fancy. Read on and see what I thought of today’s events.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Bellatrix Lestrange Character Poster

Epic Transformers Dark of the Moon 3D Theatrical Trailer in 2D!
What is said to be Michael Bay’s final contribution to the Transformers film franchise is turning out to be more spectacular than both movies combined. Go big or go home, right? This new 3D trailer that was in front of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides speaks for itself. Watching this massive trailer on an IMAX screen in 3D was almost worth more of my time than watching POTC itself (only because the trailer was two and a half minutes and not a whole movie). According to Transformers Live Action Movie Blog, this will be the last of the trailers we’ll be seeing before the film hits theaters June 29, not July 1 anymore. Check out the trailer in 2D after the jump where I also snagged 188 stills too!
