Will There be a Sin City 2? Maybe?

During a Facebook livechat for the Grindhouse movies, director Robert Rodriguez suggested that Sin City 2 would be his next project after Spy Kids 4. This lovely update comes from The Playlist who luckily caught Rodriguez in the conversation.

“Frank Miller and I are working on it. It’s slated to be the next one. But if the script is not ready, then we’ll have to move to the next one.”

Team Unicorn’s “Geek and Gamer Girls” Music Video

Team Unicorn, a group of lovely ladies promoting the existence of Gamer/Geek girls in the world, have come together to create a parody video of Katy Perry’s “California Gurls.” This is just the start of what I would assume to be an ongoing collaboration of musical numbers, skits, and fun videos expressing the love of gamer/geek girls.  The core group consists of Michele Boyd (The Guild), Clare Grant (Robot Chicken), Milynn Sarley, and Rileah Vanderbilt (Hatchet).

Their big hit debut, “G33k & G4m3r Girls” also known as the “Geek and Gamer Girls Song,” was directed by David Yarvo and premiered early September. Within a week, the music video gained over one million views on Break.com. With appearances by Seth Green (husband of Clare Grant), Stan Lee, and Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, full nerdery was in order. Check out the awesome video after the break!

T-He: Hilariously Creepy Snickers Halloween Commercial

Yayyy Snickers! Holidays bring the best out in advertisers, but the best holiday I could think of to be creative would be Halloween. This great new creepy Snickers ad is absolutely eerie and amusing. The costume in this commercial reminds me of the horrible horror gem The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. Check out the ad spot after the break for a good time along with some great Burger King Halloween print ads from last year!

T-He: Everything You Really Need to Know About Blockbuster’s Bankruptcy

The Consumerist has devised this “gross oversimplification” of Blockbuster vs. Netflix. How sad.

Mark Ruffalo “Avatars” The Avengers

Within the revolving door of actors playing the iconic figures over at Marvel Entertainment, Mark Ruffalo has been chosen to fill the shoes of Ed Norton’s place as The Incredible Hulk. Vulture got a hold of Ruffalo and he revealed that he would actually be ‘playing’ the character in the film rather than voice acting over a CGI character.

Slower than a speeding slug, the new Superman film has been building steam for some time now. Producers Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas are backing the David Goyer script and are moving along with a short list of directors to helm the revitalization of the Man of Steel. Mike Fleming of Deadline has been told by Warner Bros. execs that there is a list of five potential candidates to take on Superman.

Spider-Man Reboot Finds Its Leading Ladies?

Slowly, but surely, the new Spider-man movie, directed by Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer), is coming along, and with the casting of leading man Andrew Garfield to don the blue and red tights, the search for the love interest(s) still rolls on. EW.com has gotten word that Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) has been rumored as a casting choice to play the part of Gwen Stacy, who was recently played by Bryce Dallas Howard in Spider-man 3. Along with Wasikowska, Emma Stone has been brought to the attention of a possible casting for Mary Jane Watson, who was of course played by Kirsten Dunst within the original Spider-man trilogy.

Alternate Deleted Iron Man 2 Opening Sequence

If you were puzzled as to why Pepper Potts never kissed Tony’s helmet goodbye like in the trailer, than you are in for a treat. With the release of the Iron Man 2 DVD/Blu-Ray coming out soon, the alternate opening sequence with this footage was leaked and can be watched now before it will probably be pulled down.

I really enjoyed this opener and gave more of a sense of Tony Stark’s alcohol abuse and made the introduction more fun like in the first movie. Director Jon Favreau decided to cut this from the beginning to give Iron Man more of a bigger entrance and not so much of a comedic opening. Check it out after the break and ask yourself, why wasn’t this put in here?!
