I’m Going to E3 2012!

E3 2012

Moving to San Diego has its advantages. Writing for Game Rant, I have recently obtained the coveted title of “PRESS” in the media world. Never have I ever thought I would be able to go to such a prestigious industry event like E3. I’ve always watched coverage of the awesomeness that is E3 on G4TV, but now I will be able to cover it myself! Continue reading

Please Help! Donate to the Netflix Relief Fund!

For just dollars a month, you can help those in need of relief from the recent attack to your wallet from those monsters over at Netflix. Aide those in need of both DVD deliveries and streaming video now so they can feel something in their soul again. This tragedy cannot go on and it is up to us to stop this tyrannical plot to take away our freedoms. Nothing this catastrophic should ever come to our homes again and we must help each other to make it right. Join me and Jason Alexander after the jump to watch the PSA from the Netflix Relief Fund!

Saturday’s Schedule for The San Diego Comic-Con 2011

If you ever wanted to let your geek flag fly high and proud than Saturday is your day! On Satruday, the San Diego Comic-Con will house a full array of anything you could ever ask for in a convention. From discussions on the future of comics to the inspirational words of Joss Whedon, this day is your day. You can learn how to draw in one room and learn about the future of Avatar: The Legend of Korra in another. Panels will discus videogames, anime, manga, steampunk, and so much more. I’m still really really pissed I wasn’t able to get a badge for this thing.

The ever so infamous Hall H will be graced by the presence of FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA as he presents his panel on his new film TWIXT! How ridiculous is that?! Unfortunately the bigger guns like The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Superman: Man of Steel are not making a big presence, if any, at the con, but you will be getting previews of Snow White and the Huntsmen, Dorothy of Oz, Knights of Badassdom, and Immortals. Even Kevin Smith will be in Hall H.

So check out the entire line-up for Saturday after the jump and be sure to check out the schedules for Thursday and Friday too!

Your 2011 Comic-Con Schedule for Friday

Thankfully there will be no Rebecca Black this Friday (she’s still cool to make fun of these days right?) Anyways… this Friday schedule is a bit more exciting than Thursday will be. I think one of the biggest panels this day will be for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-man. It’s been almost 5 years since we’ve last seen the infamous web-slinger and with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone at the panel it should be a good show. A lot of other smaller films will be in the line-up too, including 30 Minutes or Less, Underworld 4, Fright Night, and Ghost Rider 2. For the entire Friday schedule at the San Diego Comic-Con be sure to view it after the jump!

My Thoughts on E3 2011 Day 1

Videogaming has always come second nature to me whether it involved sports, FPSs, RPGs, action, and all the rest. I have always been fond of the videogaming industry and this year I was able to catch all of the major announcements from Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and Sony today thanks to the lovely people at G4. Many big surprises and some disappointments. Mostly, I’ve found this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is somewhat average, thus far. I don’t own a Playstation 3 or an XBOX 360, but a lot of games they showed today really made me want to buy them, but nothing huge has struck my fancy. Read on and see what I thought of today’s events.

CDC Teaches Zombie Apocalypse 101

Who knew that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had a sense of humor? With multiple threats of the end of the world, including 2012 and the crazy Harold Camping, many believe that they should start stocking up for a possible zombie apocalypse. They have a lot of precautions to stock up on water, food, and first aid, but there is nothing about arming yourself for self-defense. I know that if there was a zombie outbreak that I would head to the nearest gun store or Wal-Mart to adequately stock up on essential armaments, Gatorade, and Spaghetti-O’s! If you feel that you should listen to what the government feels you should do in a supposed zombie shenanigans, check out the CDC website for more info!

Where Was A ‘Mad Men’ Course When I Went to School?

No, but seriously why did I go to a school that offered nothing, but boring stereotypical classes that offered very little insight into something remotely attention worthy and enjoyable? The Huffington Post reports that Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois will now be offering a consumerism studies class on the hit television series, Mad Men.
